btw witch-burnings took place when women had their periods, in mid-live crisis and or pratice naturopathy. those men from the church just didnt understand what happenend, and what they realized in their small-brains was "bad". so they killed em. and it was not unusual that all women in one village were killed, just because they "found out" that one particular woman was doing so as said above. silly to the max

This is like Black Death, the similarity is huge.

The plot is almost the same, Sean Bean (LOTR Boromir) with other knights following a monk to a little town where the powers of a girl could be the source of the black plage.
