  • at 27 how do play two notes at the same time

  • @timandchrisfite01 Yes they can go even higher and @ 0:26 it means you can either play the top or bottom note.

  • do trombone notes go that high

  • Lmao! 1 year later... I still love this song

  • you could probably squeeze another octave in there at the bottom like a bass trombone or something maybe even a tenor

  • Can you email the sheet music to me? Shea.callahan@yahoo.com

  • They're not high if you see them a lot.they just become another note

  • notes are very high

  • @1234albert100 well do u have a valve trombone

  • si tubieras la de la pantera rosa con trombon serias el blogger mas perro

  • I am impressed with your trio's thanks for posting!

  • writing the first line

  • TROMBONE REVELOUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am writing the second line

  • tuba???

  • Add a bass bone part! But don't go any lower than a pedal Eb :)

  • Wrong rhythm I meant.

  • You the beginning wrong. Can't you hear it?

  • All trombonists thumbs up here

  • @Wazupcracka does baritone count?

  • @camred123 NO Trombones ONLY!!!

  • cool. well done!

  • excellent! From one trombonist to another

  • Thank you a SO MUCH for posting this!!!! I needed it. My three friends and I will be playing this at our high school"s football games as part of our show. Do you know where i could get a copy to print out? I tried copying it down by hand and it is too tedious. If i'm missing something, please tell me.

  • this is an excellent arrangement it may not be perfect but its pretty dang close i tweaked this a little for my own arrangement and it was a phenomenal success thanks a ton

  • yes there are definitely times where trombones should not be playing MF notes but as jazz becomes more popular, more people work towards those notes and the ability to make them sound good not shrill, and i just wanted people to be aware of that!

  • for those who believe trombones sound bad playing in higher octaves, listen to steve wiest.

  • @sleughbyron There are times when (in the music) imitating Maynard Ferguson is a really bad idea, but true, Steve Wiest does make those absurd high notes sound good. Excellent player, he was the guest player at the Illinois Wesleyan Jazz Festival and critiqued my band.

  • Your arrangements are great, but lol honestly? A sharp in a flat key? xD

  • Great job on the trombone 3 part.

  • Can anyone tell me how to get the music i went on the link but i couldnt really download it into a pdf!

  • Yes the piece is normally in C, but this works better for trombone since trombone overtones build off Bb.

Check the rhythm before the first repeat.. unless that was intentional...

  • wewt for trombone part! I hate teh high notes >:\

  • Awesomeness ^-^ Ima play Trombone in band next year... But I play violin T.T I can't read Bass Clef!

  • It would be nice if it was a view of the sheet music.

  • how do you actualy print it?

  • Why would you dislike this?

  • sounds nothing like a trombone...unlesss its lower pitched then its a trombone.

  • Fuck yeah, trombonists FTW ;D (and god dammit, give us free sheet music already, its not all about pianos and guitars -.-)

  • @laurelia65 Now try getting sheet music for something foreign XD

  • where do you get this program?

  • wtf i downloaded it at 4share but i cant see music? help?

  • Oh god, can my friends and I use this as our piece for Northern Kentucky Solo and Ensemble?

  • this was awesome

  • there should be a trombone hero like guitar hero only i can do it

  • @gordonfreeman112 PFF You all want a tuba hero.

  • looks very poorly written, and too low.

  • No... The original song is a whole step higher, so then the D should be E and so forth.

  • Love this!

  • cool

  • does any one have the sheet music for the Bb clarinet???? i love mario brothers but i cant find the music for it. ~freshmen Rckz you just dont know dat yet!!!

  • hey, i took this and arranged it for trumpets and trombone... thx! :D

  • Man this is awesome. Good Job!!!

  • vid was good. except for the credits. the playthrough at the end was pretty harrible

  • Great arrangement. Thanks for posting!

  • There are a lot of people here asking simple questions relative to the music in order to look like they understand music but they are simply failing and looking stupid.

  • lol i printed this our but its kinda hard to tune some of the chords

  • no pitch is just tight for t-bones any higher theyd have a stroke they rnt meant to play that high

  • have you ever noticed how some videos put words in the search bar

  • just practice the note below G, even if u can hit the ones below it and play them in whole notes, and before u know it u'll beable to reach the G, and maybe practice ur Eb consert scale! That helps

  • Dude I just got a great idea from you about the arrangments man...I wanted to let you know that I got the idea from you and acknowledge how it's a great idea...subscribe to my page because I have ALOT of good stuff coming REAL soon!

  • let me know when you can get the D then we will talk. whats with this talk about B pfft

  • FUCK YEAH!!! LOVE THE ENDING

  • Pfft B isn't that high :)

  • pitch is wrong make the pitch higher by 1

  • @Diesel10theWarship Where are you talking about?

  • @NSZachP he obviously know about music..."higher by 1" lol

  • @NSZachP he's probably just saying to put it in E minor (it looks like D minor to me despite two flats...)

  • @NSZachP the original key was a concert C.

but this is arranged for trombones, its "easier" to play in Bb

  • @NSZachP He means everywhere because the real pitch is in C

  • @NSZachP I think he means bring it up on octave...which isn't possible because this is trombone.

  • @NSZachP He means in the beginning intro, not the actaul music on finale.

  • @NSZachP pretty sure he meant in the key of C, rather than the key of B flat, as the original theme is in C.

  • @NSZachP He means just go up another whole step for the major

  • @NSZachP make it a key that's one half-step higher

  • @NSZachP he's saying it's originally in C, which would make it much harder for a trombone trio, so you did the right thing by transposing it down to Bb. Diesel is wrong.

  • @NSZachP the whole song is 1 tone below

  • @NSZachP the original is in C major, u pitched it in Bb major.

  • @Diesel10theWarship

yeah what are you talking about?

  • @Diesel10theWarship he prolly just put in in Bb for simplicity sake

  • @Diesel10theWarship He transposed the key since playing it in the key of B-Flat major is easier for most trombone players

  • @Diesel10theWarship The pitch is fine. Any higher on a trombone would sound awful. and I should know.. I play one.

  • @NobleSabre i no right so do i that would make it all wierd and awkward for the other players ps. i play tromb one too

  • @NobleSabre Ikr i hate it when i get sheet music and its really high. i get so pissed because im a begginer and the highest i can play is above the staff E flat and the lowest bellow the staff E natural. and when i try to play high even if the note is played corectly i sound like a cross between one of my bands french horns and trumpets its terrible!

  • @Diesel10theWarship ur dumb... 1 more octave would mean u would have to explode to play. Lol

  • @REXY309 He means, the theme song is not in the correct key - the actual Super Mario Brothers theme song is in a key that is 1 pitch higher (i.e. A Major, to B major. Or B major, to C major)

  • @soundsheroincredible OOHHHHH! srry Diesel10theWarship but still one octave higher and u would die :P

  • @REXY309 hardly! the highest note's that Bb, huh? i can play that an octave up, not in the middle of a tune mind, but still...

  • @therogermarsh good for u...

  • @REXY309 I wouldnt say that at all. Yes the high Bb would nearly impossible seeing as the horn stops having partials once it goes that high, but all the rest of the notes are just high, not impossible and CAN sound good if practiced well. Look at the 3rd mt. of the Gordon Jacobs trombone Concerto and tell me that's any easier than this up an octave. lol

  • @RyanEarl802 horn players are supposed to play that high. a high G is qually as hard as a horn player playing double Bb, myself can reach that on trombone but im saying its natural for a horn

  • @REXY309 It's not impossible to play one more octave above that, but you would have to have the range of a trumpetist and that is rare on trombone. My personal best range is the D4.

  • @jociethedevout yes i know... :)

  • @REXY309 lol sorry...I just enjoy playing ^_^. I am just a fellow band geek.

  • @jociethedevout me too! :)

  • @REXY309 lol do you play trombone? and if so how long have you been playing? I have been playing since I was 10 so about 12 years for me ^_^. lol I was even one of the kids that went to band camp ><

  • @jociethedevout yea i play the trombone, been playing for 2.75 years and have been playing since i was 11... lol i always go to band camp any chance i get...

  • @REXY309 lol awesome! do you like just playing classical music or do you like jazz as well? I like both!

  • @jociethedevout i like both! wow we are so alike!

  • @REXY309 or switch to trumpet

  • @chimchar68 -.- lol

  • @REXY309 he/she meant 1 key. im sure. the piece is in key of C. they knew what they were talking about.

  • @tommyspittle good for he/she :3

  • @REXY309 obviously you haven't played oct above the b flat on the treble clef........highest hit yet.....keep workin on ur range tho

  • @Wazupcracka fail, bro... ur saying u can play a Bb thats 3 octaves on ledger lines....

  • @Wazupcracka the Bb that most highschool players can reach is the the one that is at the 4th ledger line above the staff (3rd or 4th octave, depending on if its a bass or tenor bone)... the one you are suggesting would be hitting the 7th ledger line...

  • @Diesel10theWarship it for the freaking trombone you can make the pitch by moving the slide witch will mess it all up!

  • @Diesel10theWarship Dude this is a trombone not a trumpet dumbass

  • @chimchar68 Umm I hope you realize that just cuz the mouthpeice is bigger doesn't mean its easier to play higher notes

-someone who plays both trumpet AND trombone

  • @BrittanyMorganVargas I ment it was harder he said it needs to be a higher octive it's not easy playing high on a bass ensrtument, now I don't want to start a fight.

  • @chimchar68 well its not easier to play it on a trumpet either-_-

  • it's only I high Bb I've played it in many first Trombone parts for my High School Symphonic Band. it's still pretty hard to hit though

  • yeah im in concert band. lots of fun

  • whoa. the lead part goes quite a bit higher than I can play. Highest I can play is a high G which is a little higher than High F. yeesh.

  • It only goes up to a high G.

  • @scrabalabadingdong63 I guess my eyes are bad. it's still difficult for me to play High G though.

  • @scrabalabadingdong63 I guess I my sight is bad. It's still difficult for me to hit high G though.

  • @scrabalabadingdong63 sorry if there's a double post. I guess youtube's lagging.

  • hurts does that my teacher keeps nagging me and im the only bass player!! but nobody acutally hears me buuut when we went to contest one judge said that trombone needs to play louder. then i said you heard me aint that enough??

  • plus i can go up to hi D

  • @XObitchyprincessOX ok. I wanna get a bass trombone someday. I'd finally be able to play like a tuba! :D Except it'll be a trombone which is so effin awesome :DDD (right now I have a standard Yamaha trigger... yeah)

  • @XObitchyprincessOX ok. I want to get a Bass trombone soon. It'd be like I'm playing a tuba in trombone form which is effin awesome :D (right now I have a standard Yamaha trigger trombone)

  • yeah i have a bass trombone...i hit that tuba note like it was my bitch. im in 7th grade btw. gg no re

  • ok mr 4 octaves. first of all u need to start about at a pedal b flat range and u need to be able to literally scream with the trombone like the high c on trumpet.(a little exageration)

  • at the ending is that a real trombone section playing ????????

  • 4 octaves of F isn't that hard.

You just need a really good high range...

  • which is what I need to work on doing, haha I have a 7 octave range but I can't play cleanly

  • молодцы тромбонисты!!!

  • not high at all

im in eighth grade and can play f scale 4 oct.

  • What!?!?!?!?! FOUR OCTIVES!!! Are you serious!!!

  • that is probably a complete lie. even with a bass trombone, i don't think a 8th grader would hit Low F (Tuba Low F),Low F, Middle F then High F. So the most he could probably do is 3 like almost any trombone player.

  • enough already we get it practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice,practice...ect.

  • its not that hard im in 8th grade too :P

  • we're going to play this at solo and ensemble

  • how do u use like 1st and a second ending

  • great job! and people commenting that it's too high...it really isnt. just gotta use that air!

  • also, that high Bb appears in a lot of music as you progress using the horn, so it's not like its unheard of.

  • i see a lot of people complaining that this is too high, and i just want to say that the only high part is first and if you're playing first you need to be able to play high. that's my opinion anyway

  • You're right of course. Actually, really good trombone players can play up to the f above that b flat.

  • how am i suppose to play that high Bb? ugh!

  • practice, practice, practice

  • faster air = more range

tips: when u play a b flat scale two octaves the first octave u tongue and the second octave u use all air

another tip: lip slurs exercises will help

  • yeah this is really high lol for a standard.

  • Im a sophomore bass trombonist. I'm third chair, and high Bb sucks for most of the players in my trombone section, because most have braces. The problem with Bb with braces is that...the braces mess the damn airflow up, and make fast air movement almost impossible. I am lucky enough to have learned to get around that, as are the top two trombonists, but its still pretty damn hard for me to do for more than 5 seconds.

  • Yea Im in 8th grade and High Bb is pretty easy for me, I mean higher than that not so much but its not really that hard if you just practice (First chair trombone)

  • Which Bb are you talking about?

The one that is in the space right above the top line on the staff, or the one an octave above that?

  • @TheGilmer above the octave

  • Ah, you're off to a great start then, bud! Keep practicing and you'll grow to be great! :D

  • Doesn't look too hard. :P

  • o wow i can only play up til high G......and im in 9th grade but this looks pretty easy

  • Once you start playing harder music. The high G isn't good enough. Some songs require you to play real high like the high B flat above.

  • holy jesus... soon enough ill be able to get that high

  • ive had to play music where it asked for the D

above the high Bb it was treacherous lol

  • After having to play 1st trombone Eternal Father Strong to Save, the high notes don't look as high anymore. That was a hard concert season for me but fun nonetheless. I bet I can reach that high Bb nowadays if I really had to. =)

  • wait like high B flat of high HIGH B flat?

  • high HIGH B flat way above the staff. I didn't know what half the notes were in that piece cause I never had to read that high. =)

  • @NintendoTobi yes lol

  • I play sax and a little trombone but that looked pretty high. Nice drag triplets and rythem( fail)

  • lol bunch of little kids on this chat line =P im a senior in high school and first chair =) I enjoyed this music and would like to know if there is anywhere i might be able to purchase it? but it looks as though you wrote it yourself! Good job!

  • OH MY FRIGGIN GAWD i wanna have my band play this and im first chair trombone but im in 8th grade and there is NO FRIGGIN WAY i can play the notes at 0:26 !!!!! THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD SOUND HIGH ENOUGH TO BE A TRUMPET!!

  • That's why I placed the B-flats an octave down on that part. You can play those instead.

  • oh.......well now i feel dumb that i didnt notice that ^^;;

  • @tinkxoxo dude i think those notes are either the high g on sharp 2nd or the high a on sharp 2nd too and yes they're high im a 7th grader and i played those notes today. My teacher was flipping out cause he couldnt reach those notes till he was in the 10th grade ^^ but yeah he says that for a 7th grader im pretty good especially since im a girl ^,^ but i naturally play high i cant reach the really really low notes that Base tbone players can play :)

  • I bet You cant beat me in Trombone IM FIRST CHAIR AND IM(a guy in 7 grade) AWESOME

  • Also High B flats are EZ And High A Flats

  • noob

  • Noob?
