I wanted to know how you like the cruise to canada because I am going on the same cruise in sept. 2012. how was the weather? were did you depart from?
@Sabreeus Hi, we went in June and it was COLD, also bring a sweater as every public room on the ship is on the chilly side. We departed from NYC and the cruise port there is awesome-very helpful and friendly employees. I don't think we would do this route as we prefer warmer destinations. Have fun

Thanks for posting this video, a good friend of mine has been on a couple cruises and really wants her husband to join her, He also uses a scooter to get around and he says it would be to hard to use it on a ship. I will be showing her this video to share with him. Once again thank you.

I'm thinking of booking this cruise for my daughter's 16th birthday. It will be her and a couple friends with us and wanted to see if a few teenagers would have fun. But who doesn't have fun on a carnival cruise :) We went on the Dream this past August. LOVED IT!!
It is called cruise elegant night now, formerly known as formal night, for guys nice slacks collar shirt and tie is totally acceptable for gals a nice dress or business casual suit is fine, be comfortable-your on vacation.
The first night you can dine in the cloths you boarded with as you may not get your luggage or unpacked until after dinner.
All other nights besides elegant is slacks and a decent shirt-NO shorts tank tops etc, I was very comfy in my baggie pants and slip on shirt
Nikon Coolpix L120, we just bought it before this cruise and LOVE it, so many cool features and very user friendly, we had a Canon S5-IS that took fair pictures, I just wish the Nikon could take stills while video taping like the Canon. However the Nikon allows you to zoom while taping that you can not do with the Canon.
