man this disease really sucks...im 15 n a soph in hs i just got off iv treatments and have been doing them yearly ever since i was maybe 3 sometimes i wish i could just as easy tell people that i have it but i am afraid of what people will think b/c no one really knows what it is in my skool...i kno thats kind of stupid of me but i guess its just a personal issue of mine
I have saw the movie and read alex's book her memory always lives on.!!!!!!! I admire all of you. I was born ill too. I cant fight off infections and I got sick four years ago that made things alot worse. I got tss and died three times. You guys have courage and all of angels in my eyes. I hope one day to meet you all or just have you in my thoughts everyday!!! god bless.

This truly is a great video!!!My best friend has CF he is now 20 and I am 19 our birthdays are exactly 6 months apart. We are have had many fun times together especially the one night we picked up a gril at 2:00 in the morning and went roadloading with her. There are still many crazy days and nights yet to come but in the mean time we'll be Rolling With The Changes!

Thanx! I really like it... And yea I have never been told that about being able to catch things from other CF ppl. I just thought that we had a higher risk of gettin sick or an infection from ne one that was sick- Like had a cold or something...
i know what you mean. i didnt think poeple with cf were supposed to be around other with cf? i've lived with cf since i was 6 weeks old, and i've never met anyone else that has it, and now im 27? kind of sucks, i have a mild case, i have been hospitalized only 3 times for lung infections throughout my life.
doctors reccomend that u do NOT be around others with CF due to the fact that we can give each other the bacterias that the other person might not have.... STEPHY6J: u and ur brother live under the same roof so u allready have the same bacterias but if u were to meet me for example, i have MRSA and if u do not have that, then i could easily give it to u because of our low ammune systems... same as if u have a bacteria or infection that i do not have i could easily get it.

well it depends in what year she was 50 lol cuz it was harder to detect b4 the screenings... or she might have had a much milder case that cud have been masked as asthma and as she got older it progressed though slowly.

I too have CF but i got a double lung transplant last year...So it is much easier to breath now...i wish you ALL the best keep fighting:)
