  • Perhaps the world of the subatomic particle is the same world as the DMT trip.

  • @brianz1214 Well I think that subatomic particles are more of a perception through the help of technology and like Mckenna says our language. DMT would be more of straight experience that cannot be described by our language and lacks typical human perception. Then when the DMT trip is explained it is filtered back down to a perceptional view that is explainable through our language. So I guess you can say they are both metaphorical to our understanding? IDK lol, But i love this.

  • "We know" defines my first mushroom trip with my lover, in the beautiful rain..i cant completely explain the understanding that was set in motion, but terence mckenna describes..an identical experience. psychedelics are the keys:)

  • I am so glad that eyeearbrain.webs.com sent me here. Best theory ever!

  • Not trying to hate, but everything he said sounded kind of like nonsense.. The world is language? The world is consciousness? I'd agree to that but I wouldn't agree that it is any more consciousness or language than it is superstrings..

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA I can sort of understand what he's getting at - the world is language is just another way of saying the world is information and that all patterns of energy in the universe can be understood as language constructs; this is the way we understand and communicate the world.

  • @CalumnMcAulay Ya I get that and agree with that.. But why say "The universe is language"? Is it any more language than it is brainless matter pulsing around? To say it's language seems awfully close to saying that it is alive.. And ya it is alive, because we're part of it, but it's also dead lol.. it's a balanced 50/50 lol..

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA well i understand what you mean by it's 50/50 dead and alive, but that deffinately doesn't mean it's reduced to 'brainless matter pulsing around'... it's a pool of infinite knowledge, or the collective unconscious. it is a part of us during life (or IS us) but our ego's and lifestyles don't allow us to be very in tune with it.

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA What do you mean by superstrings?

  • @tryptaminddd well i'm not sure if they are purely theoretical or not, maybe i should have said atoms. but i don't think he has appropriate reason to say the universe is language because wouldn't that imply someone designed it?

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA Well I personally think the use of the word language doesn't necessarily have to mean words and gestures, it is just the ability to transfer knowledge and communicate. And suggesting that the core of us and everything is a flow of constant energy or one divine consciousness that expresses itself through the creativity of nature and life, it is always communicating with itself and with everything just as the nerves commuicate messages within your own physical body

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA "You are something that the whole universe is doing, in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing" -Alan Watts

  • Thank you so much for posting, I swear I could listen to Terence Mckenna for hours.

Check out his book "Food of the Gods" he talks a lot about how when we consume something, it is really information transfer from one entity to the other. Very interesting stuff, thanks again!

  • very well made!

  • Excellent video. Thanks.

  • I found this on bluehoney . org....via StumbleUpon.

  • wow, what an awesome god of all creation! Terrence really understood the mechanism of existence, iam not sure he understood the source of it all.

  • @michaeljustussvcc Can you elaborate what you mean by 'source of it all'?

  • @demonfelix What i mean by "the source of it all" is that there is a divine force behind all these things mckenna talks about. He understood the mechanism of existence within our reality of time and space. He saw the great order and design in life and existence, but mckenna has missed the driving force behind all existence. This driving force is our creator god. Also known as jesus, jesus is god in the flesh.

  • @michaeljustussvcc thats a load of bullshit. STFU please

  • @michaeljustussvcc Actually if there was anyone to tell you he knew as little about reality as anyone, it would be Terence Mckenna. The man had several analogous traits with the wise man Socrates, both had little to no ego, and saw how little anyone really knew about anything at all, so there was no defense of opinion when someone had a different view point...It takes an open mind to see the futility of mind. Jesus is God, you are right. But, my brother, so are you, and I and all life..

  • @demonfelix annother way that i interpret it as is the pool of consciousness. the source of it all is the vibrational energy that we consist of that all beings are in the raw form of self. Thats what is meant by the phase, "we are all one"

  • I love terrence

  • TMc had an informed eloquence of communication unlike anyone I've ever heard, almost as if he had a way of tapping into a collective information network. We so need him today, but notice that when he speaks on any subject, it's as if he were speaking of the hear and now ~~ yet all these vids of him are at least eleven years old. Such a beautiful mind.

  • damn...
