i reallly like him western, like when hes loping if th guys lifts n collects hed ne extremly cute=] i think he would be n is gd at trail=] do u show him in western?
for the western stuff you basically just get him to slow down his legs more and shorten the stride and lift more. you know how you slow him down when riding english? do the same thing but repeat it whenever he goes fast or gets flat and hold him there until he is where you want him again. i think you will feel it when you have it correctly. hes a very talented horse and im sure he will know what you are asking. ;)
imo you should do all around with him, like do the wp too, hes got the ability to be fantastic and go places doing everything. maybe he needs to be held more for the western like more support with your legs. it must be nice having a horse like that.
he looks amazing in this video!!! his lope is pure gorgeousness!!! lol. i like him more in this video doing western than in the video you have of showing english. primarily because his strides need to be lengthened out a bit more at the trot and canter, his stride is that of a western horse and its not that hard to extend them.
he looks sloppy cuz the guy can't ride lol
i like his jog though. im sure someone just put a spur into him he'd be cute. he's cute legged

He's pretty good western, but he does look a bit sloppy in the front. You can definately tell he's more of a hunt seat guy :)
