There is a 30fps cap on the PC version. Its forced to be laggy, and likely the result of a quick port from xbox.

Play jedi knight at 100+fps and you will see a big difference.

60fps being the limit of what a human can perceive, 30fps is choppy, not ideal.

Well then u meant it wrong, it's not laggy but the game itself is slow and that is what we can't do something about. I played all the jedi knight games but that game is all other thing. This game has to be slow to do those all kinds of combos etc, there is a big difference between tfu and jk games. Jedi Knight games have to be fast cause they have multiplayer options which is needed for pvp. TFU is more about showing the capability of the force. Point of this game is different then other swgames

The style of gameplay is totally unrelated to frames per second in the exception that fast-paced games need higher framerates.

Maybe you were thinking I meant first person shooter.

30fps is good for solitaire, but not ANY first person shooter.

@lClawl They just ported it as fast as possible and didn't bother with 'details' . The best you'll probably get is forcing the settings with nvidia/ati control panel.

@NEMESIS1999 Uuum, u don't start the game over, u first go to NEW GAME and then u can go to Hoth, Jedi Temple or Tatooine. WITHOUT completing The Game ^^

yes there is a possiblity you can run it, alot of people dont think im telling the truth on this but i ran call of duty modern warefare on a nvida gefore 7300 gs, at almost max, with only 2 gb of ram with dual core proccessor, tweak around with the graphics some, i really belive you can play this maybe not a max but i would give it a go :)

Whats up with Lucasart bs comment about how The force unleashed was supposely too powerful for the PC to handle back in the day? I just tried it out with my weak HD4670 and 1280 resolution and it plays just fine.

Hey thanks for your reply... I just saw your above post... I did run assassins creed on max with a dual core e2180 2.0ghz 2GB of ram and a 9800GT 512mb card in winxp sp3.... I can overclock the processor to 2.47ghz without any additional cooling... What do you think? Will i be able to run it? Thank you for your time....

just get another stick of RAM... I dont have much knowledge about ati cards... If you could tell me which model of nvidia can be compared to it... i can help you.... Your processor can rape this game... Depends on how well aspyr did the the optimization though... But on their site requirements were mentioned as 2.8ghz dual core... So you should be fine.
