My 1st real electric guitar that i bought back in 1988 or 89 don't realy remember or matter is a black 1977 Ibanez Les Paul Custom. I bought it for $250.00, I still play it this very day as a matter of fact I play it more than my Gibson Les Paul.
I have an Ibanez deluxe 59'er les paul, the neck/fret action is great, but it's a lighter guitar with less sustain, the only changed parts are new grover tuning heads.
Been playing it since 1975, my best guitar, I have a gibson, a guild, and others.
I have a '76 2350 black beauty. the previous owner put single coil pickups on it for some reason. The sound is absolutely incredible because of the chambered body and arched top - great jazz sound on the neck pickup. I should get some super 70s and put them back on but I don't know if it would be as good

@katsugraphics You should check out one of my other vids where I show just how alike this guitar sounds as a proper custom!
Using a 4-track as guitar amp - a great blues sound!
