My grandfather had a John Deere and an MTD with a Tecumseh 5 horse. He was mowing one day with the MTD and all at once it sounded like he hit a large rock and it came to a grinding halt. I ran out to see what happened and the rod had gone straight through the side of the block. Sprayed oil everywhere. He got a new motor shipped and replaced it. That mower ran for years. The JD too.

The zero turn riding lawn mower is a Husqvarna. It is good and efficient mower it really cuts mowing time in half, which saves me money.

Husqvarnas are good it just depends on the engine. I don't think It will last as long as your 316. That thing already lasted for 31 years. Those old Kohlers Rock compared to what they make now. Oh Craftsmens are junk and The deeres always Start! Nice video! You could have another video about mowing with them.

no it isn't, its a 316 so it has a ~15hp Kohler Twin. my friends dad has the same one and that is the same question i asked him too!
