hey bro putting together my bag wanted to ask if focus mitts are really needed also should i get some mma gloves, just wanna be sure because once i get all my kit im not looking to shell out again this stuff is expensive
@jusaverage Hey brother! no focus mits aren't essential, i just like to have my own because the ones at your gym tend to be cruddy. I would get cheap mma gloves, especially if you plan on competing, it's important to feel the difference when your grappling and even hitting the bag. I would always use 14-16 oz gloves (boxing) when hitting the mitts though
@psykojojo i think i will invest in the mma gloves, fittness freak here but i see just how valuable hittting a bag with mma gloves could be, going for the fairtex mma, hopefully get some distance may, not have the money in the future for another pair. thankyou ps love the vids dude keep going bro!
Fun video guys. Reminds me of my gear bag when I was your age and going to my boxing gym every day. I kept wondering why you had a smoke detector in your bag....turned out to be air freshener. Couldn't possibly smell worse than the old locker room at Times Square Gym back in the 70's. I'd rather get my ass kicked than ever smell that place again!
