  • @pvx The only problem is that most thrift stores aren't accepting these old CRT televisions anymore. Despite the quality of them, there are many around and no one wants them anymore.

  • Stupid Fag Destroying a good CRT TV, FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not destroy a pos flat screen instead?

  • you fool... that tv was still good

  • got to love mr.bean

  • What a waste....

  • Looks like Julie Bowen was the victim of a drive by!

  • can u tell me what was makeing the tv working outside intena? dish? please tell me!!

  • @idellhpcompaq TV3 here in Southland NZ doesn't seem to need an aerial, perfect reception can be obtained by putting your finger on the aerial plug! It is the only channel that does it, must have something to do with the frequency or signal strength.

  • @SouthlandFlyer ok............ can u like explain that to me -.-

  • Best Forrest Gump impersonation...."Somebody shot that nice cathode ray tube."

  • Now I'll never know who that was.

  • MORON Soon CRT will be a collector item, and CRT has better advantage than LCD when you play video game.

  • @sideslide23 nope

  • do not destroy CRT DIY repair it at least

  • were you using a BB gun?

  • @TehUberCyberBeast Nice, I still have a 4:3 Philips SD set in the living room, it's about as old as my Sony. I've been thinking of connecting my Intellivision and Atari consoles to it, I do concur that SD CRT sets are the best to use with retro-gaming consoles (as any retro-gamer will recommend). Shame that Sony never decided to market their HD CRT sets in the UK (or outside N. America in general), it would of maybe given them more of a market base to keep on manufacturing HD tube sets....

  • @TehUberCyberBeast Right on! CRTs are also superior in the fact that they yield a far wider contrast ratio than any LCD/LED/Plasma display (IIRC), and, as I mentioned earlier, even CRT HD sets are also far superior at displaying SD resolutions (no upscaling needed, just a simple decrease in the CRT's vertical scan rate). I have a '04-vintage Sony HD WEGA Trinitron CRT set in my bedroom and it is everything I want and need for an HD set. It's a shame that HD CRT sets aren't being made....

  • me- I LOVE THIS SHOW :D

    you- I Might shoot this

    me- SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

    you-shoot TV

    me- -.-

  • Forget about the title of the video, start watching the show on the TV. Suddenly HEY WTF MAN.

  • Wtf were u shooting at it, sounded like bb's

  • u r MAD

  • Hey now you shot Julie Bowen!

  • wtf mitubishi didnt know they made tvs

  • epic

  • Geez, what a waste. You should of shot a set that was at least malfunctioning and beyond any cost-effective repair. :(

CRT's aren't worthless, they display SD video better than any upscaling LCD or plasma HD set nowadays (save for HD CRT sets). You could of least donated this set to a thrift store or something. Shame.

  • @pvx lol... Just go to your local scrapyard and you got 10 working CRT TV's...

  • @Arnodude53 ...which in itself is pretty damn wasteful, IMO. (Reuse or recycle!)

  • @pvx While I see your point, it is not your or my or anyone's business to make a judgement on what that person does with his TV. He could have donated it, but he didn't, and that was his choice.

  • @pvx this thin IS practically worthless. I could walk down to our local dump and get a couple of these bastards that work for $5

  • sweet

  • look its a mitsubishi :D

  • No if you make a hole it will vacum the tube and stop working.

  • i wonder if you drill into the tube with an extra small drill piece, if it will still work

  • nice
