That's awesome! is there anything I should know before buying a distortion pedal? I'm a junior in college as a violin performance major but they frown upon music other than classical.
i cant tell you how pathetic i think you are for saying such things... if you dont like it, dont start hating on it just walk off... dont even watch it
IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN DO A TUTUORIAL TO TEACH ME AND I GUESS MANY OTHERS TO PLAY THE VIOLA................IM A BEGGINER AND MY CLASSMATES ARE IN THEIR 2ND TERM..........HELP c= LOVE YOUR PLAYING
go to david gusscott website, a maker from Queensland Australia, he makes 4 or 5 string electric violins made out of carbon fibre, light as and sounds great
why you not sure if I am???? haven't you seen my other video's of me playing upside down flying through the air do back saults while playing the violin....now that's crazy!
or your parents expensive surround sound system, just make sure there not home when you do that, and more importantly make sure your neighbours are away as well, don't won't the cops over wrecking the party
Viola is easily the coolest instrument out there. I've watched the whole trio of videos, and I am amazed at the way you can play it. I'm trying to learn to play like that with all my rock-"trained" friends.
Just one question: what equipment do you use to amp your viola?
why thankyou! indeed I agree it's pretty dam cool, although have been recently playing with a 6 string viper and that is another beast all together. I was using a vox tone lab and an AER acoustic amplifier. the pickup wasn't all that crash hot but did the job, just a standard piezo bridge mounted pickup called the shadow. re amps, I'd go for something maybe a little more suited to distortion, if infact that is all your playing, either fender or marshall...rock on dude, thanks for watching!

where could I purchase an electric viola and how much would it cost? :)
psyouregay 3 years ago 2
Although it's uncommon for music
stores to carry, they usually have
it in their catalogs. As always though,
they're quite easy ( as all things are)
to find on eBay and amazon.
