  • lol you have the same keyboard as me

  • nice ty, and now other hardware is reqiert only 2 grafic cards and 3 monitors, and ure geniues software ;-)

then i giv it a try..... thx for the hot tip..

  • lol wow 3 CRT's how stupid is that

  • @Newbpwng have the real life simulators, there like this, but all around you.

  • @Newbpwng b...but i use 3 CRTs... D:

  • thats cool, but how do u get 3 monitors on your grafikcard, I have a good 1 and she had only 2 spots to conect ????

  • @FireballGER Pop in another graphics card and connect the third monitor to it. The software handles the rest.

  • i preffer a bigger lcd screen that a small with borders

  • it would be cool if track ir was with visor then u got the screen infront of your eyes and dont have to turn your eyes against the screen

  • any one want to write a how to for this game i uploaded the how to for arma 1.16 with 1.09 ace :)

  • great setup!!

    imagine this with borderless LCD's???

    hmm

     tasty!

  • The funny part is the Fat boarder of the monitor is intentional by the manufacture to give a false impression that it is larger then it really is....

  • yeah, also a 17" crt monitor s probably just 15,5"

because they dont just measure the screen, but also the edges

  • Too bad that SoftTH doesn't support Sturmovik.

  • will it work with only 2 monitors as well?

  • cool i have 3 lcd's laying around :D

  • GET hdmi tv it save space and are just do our simulator thing haha game is fun FSX AND xplane are fun to

  • is this game good?

  • Yea, It is

  • I have a 22" CRT in the middle and 2x19" LCDs on the sides and I think one would need a really HUGE monitor to get the same feeling when flying or racing... Something like 30" or maybe more.

  • just get a big ass monitor instead of this!

  • Nice setup time for some LCDs though.

  • i hate CRT screens

  • I hate LCD screens

  • fair enough

  • lol. cause CRTs are better?

  • That's correct.

  • i don't like it. i prefer one monitor cause i don't like cuted view.

  • i dnt know the name .. but tehr e exist glassis with sensor.. wenn du urn u head.. it tuns u sigh... !!! to play on a projector is also nice

  • projectors?! they are expensive as hell(low priced ones are not suitable to play games with) and not to mention the service cost.

the best i saw was a pair of small digital glasses with two small monitors. the camera controler sensor works better with them (i know i tried it) and they are cheaper.

  • Not to mention if you have virtual reality hardware. ^.^ Much like I might get.

  • I just got my Track Ir, and I've always thought that it would be awesome to use it with video glasses... I HAVE to try it one day, if it works well it would be the ultimate gaming experience I believe.

  • Dude you would be practically out of sight out of mind. ^.^

  • It's preety ovbvoius why. Russo explained perfectly and in detail hmm, i'm not sure you are intellegent enough to understand though.

  • I have a question about the TrackIR. So you move your head around to look around the virtural enviroment, but let say you do things like look behing you, how can you see the screen if you are looking behind in reality?

  • You adjust the sensetivity of the trackir , kuch like a mose, so you moove your head just a little bit but the game on the screen moves drasticly..

  • you dont have to do the full motion for that, you can adjust the sensitivity[sp?] of it, so you can adjust it so that you only have to turn your head 45 degrees to virtually look behind you, thats just an example, it could be less, so for that you wont have many problems, hope it helps =]

  • Could you be more specific about this "Software triple head" please? I guess it's got something to do with dual graphic cards with dual-head configurations. Coz this setup actually works, just need some s/w modification to make it work with LO.

  • No, Triple head 2 go is a device that plugs into (if I'm not mistaken) the USB device on your PC and is like a video card itself that can display 3 video outputs

  • nah, it uses a standard VGA cable from one of your gfx card outputs and the software in it makes the computer think its got a really wide screen plugged into it, then it splits the image and puts each image into standard resolutions for each monitor. clever stuff :)

  • Like I said, it's hardware then. Thanks anyway.

  • The software is SoftTH and the link is at the video description. It was developed by Kegetys himself.

  • Thanks for the intro, dude.

  • Well, thanks for the reply regarding 'Hardware' Triple Head. However, I've known the Matrox TripleHead2Go for quite a while. And I'm curious about what a 'Software' Triple head is.

  • Soramac: Thats because he's videotaping a CRT... they're not really there... It has to do with the refresh rates of the camera and CRT. Lcds don't "blink" and thus there are no lines. The image morphs to the next... whereas the CRT flashes to the next image.

  • uh ok but htf do i actually get three screens to my one computer?

  • why crt? what a noob

  • wouldn't it be easier to just buy a widescreen

  • you cant get that wide screen...

  • Hmm the idea is cool with the panoramic view, and you have more zoom. but the sides of the screens... i dont like it

  • hi,

    is this freeware?

    did you find coding easy?

can i use it with just 2 monitors?

    thanks

  • You have to use a think called TripleHead2Go - costs about $300.

  • hi thanks for reply but i realise now..this is an alternative to matrox...it is for free too..good job those matrox units are stupidly overpriced

  • Yeah, after posting this VVVV I actually read the title... :P oops :D

  • hi kegetys

I posted a demo of TOCA3 used with your great software. I still have some problems with menus but the game is ok ;)

    check on my videos

  • 60 HZ max with TripleHead. So you need LCD's for decent view

  • it should not work like that. The Fov is still the same. but because of the image ratio, you got a HUD only display.

  • You can afford 3 monitors, but not a decent HOTAS with a separate throttle stick?!

  • get LCDs with thicker frames.

  • Could you set it up, theoretically (if you were rich) with a trio of projectors? it'd be big enough, if you had a special room for it you could project 2 onto adjacent walls and set up a sloped surface above, so you could have an upper face. Not perfect, but better than most could do...

  • dumb. its cheaper to get a bigger monitor or prjector for better immersion. that's the beauty of TIR. now you don't need a bunch of monitors

  • :) lol I doubt you can find such wide monitor ;)

  • quite a cool setup. Lomac rocks..

  • Nice :D
