i have a stupid ocd fear that im going to get more dumber and less potentalized as i get older, im 23 now and i feel so fresh, youthfull and super intelligent, but whats going to happen from 24 and onwards?, will i still feel like the way i feel when im 23?
IMHO, if you observe closely, most white women who have OCD, are quite flexible about getting coodies from a young clean looking white person. But they literally throw up at the thought of catching a brownskinned person's coodies, which makes you wonder, if this is a disease, or a racist, xenophobic fear of nonwhite immigrants. I have had five friends with OCD: from different places, all white, middleclass, women young and old, and very biased towards other races. When racism is excused as OCD
first if you have racing thoughts or obsessional thoughts most doctors will call you bipolar which also mimics ptsd and not considered ocd, if there is no compulsion...so then you get prescribed meds like Zyprexa or Seroquel which don't really help and make you fat..... so unless you have ocd you really can't /don't know what ocd is like.
Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
