w8 nvm i figured out what went wrong i sujest you guys check if this is the problem my ip address changed overnight so i couldn't log in but going to cmd and doing ipconfig tells you new one hope that helps :)

@xXilikemuffinXx most likely the server ran out of memory (computer wasn't strong enough to render all the blocks in the world) and therefor the java server crashed meaning clients(you) get disconnected and receive said error

To those experiencing Internal Exception: java.net.socketTimeoutExceptio­n: read timeout errors;

There is no universal fix, as far as I've been able to find. Been having this issue while connecting to a friend's server, and I've searched the interwebs far and wide for a solution. Best advice I can offer is to make sure Java is fully upgraded and check connection speeds with speedtestDOTnet

If ANYONE has a solution, please send me a message/email, I'd love you and do my best to share.

Connection refused just means that the owner or operator of the server has set the option of refusing to let people log in. If your just getting a connection reffused screen then your fine the servers just probaly down for maintenance. And assuming your the Killa I think you are, I've gotten the same message when trying to log in since the other night when it was u me and hsien on for a sec. I'm sure vorts working on a plugging or something and he'll have it up as soon as possible

Oh and I was able to open the port 25565 with start and private port as the same.

There's also an option that has enable port range, if I enable it it opens the end port box so I can use it, and like I said I cant have the same port num as the end port or vice versa.
