WARNING from a JKA life member: Years with the JKA (Japan and America) revealed contradictions that caused me to study original karate (beginning, what it is, why developed, how taught, general syllabus). The JKA practices a sport and it has eliminated much of original karate. As such it is not a martial art and is not karate at all. See Tekki shodan, Ohta on YouTube. "JKA karate is essentially Nakayama karate, one of Funakoshi's students. Funakoshi hated kumite, Nakayama embraced it and created what is basically tournament karate today. Check out the JKA website for more details." The JKA, a sport, not a martial art.

You can feel the bitterness all clenched and bottled up inside you and you can only let it out by foaming angrily at what people love. Mate, do yourself a favour and get a girlfriend (or boyfriend if suppressing that side of you is what's made you so bitter).
I am against sport as well and train for self-defence BUT I would never talk smack about Seiji Nishimura (he's the sensei). His technique is exceptional and I'm sure he can hit hard as well.
