@trainkittyXIII hehehe, IKR. GOTTA LOVE IT!!! anyone out there who hates these films, DVC or A/D should just go hide in a celler and think back and remember that movies are ENTERTAINMENT, and not real life.................aside from documentaries though.
I was so shocked by the twist that I was so disappointed he came off this great heroic scene just to find out he was master minding the whole kidnapping.
First time I did read a book after i saw the movie, but because the movie was so great, i just wanted to have more excitement and more details. film is really about good and evil. and in book, well i could (without anything saying about plot) understand the reason of the enemy. Book is so much better, but that is always the case.
okay personaly i hate it when Ritchter died in the movie cuz the guy who plays him is like my idol but they should have stuck more to the book! i loved both but the movie should have related more to the book...
Honestly both this part in the book and the music make me cry. THat he was Pope for seventeen minutes... I mean the whole past of the Carmerlengo unfolding just gets me every time I read it. Incredible book and hopefully a good movie!
I know I think the alteration of the immolation scene irked me the most. IN teh book he went out cuz he felt guilt but in this he dies cause he doesn't want to deal with punishment! It's not even aparent that it's why he died!
The 4th Cardinal was my favorite when I read the book, I'm glad they changed the ending in my favor. But I hated that they left out the Real Fifth brand.
like when all the cardinals are staring at him? He leaves because of guilt in the book? and then in the movie he kills himself. Is that what your talking about? thats saaad :( I like the book one more. What happens to him in the book?
In the movie they all stare at him and in the book he and he has a conversation with all the cardinals. And eventually he finds out that his father was the Pope and feels bad for killing him so he freaks out and all screams, leaves and goes into the office and lights himself on fire shortly after being elected Pope! That's how he dies... I still cried in the movie...
Noo he goes to the top of the church and everyone in St Peters Square watches him burn. :( So yeah I felt they cut it quite short in the movie but was still sad to watch.
Oh, yeah! Sorry my memory sucks... I still cried though.... it was cut so short. And in the book he didn't scream, and in this... someone screamed! I'm a neat picker... I still cried...
What is the track called where you find out that Obi-Wan was behind it all?

If you haven't bought this soundtrack already, go and buy it NOW - it is phenomonal.
This is as astonishingly beautiful piece of music. Hans Zimmer and Joshua Bell are high up on my list of best musicians.
Could listen to this all day...
