saw this wonderful band at the old lion in north adelaide and twice at the tivoli in adelaide then sunday 4th dec 2011 at the gov just awesome thank you
Wow! I remember seeing these guys (numerous times) at the Great Northern in Sydney; pretty sure it was with The Hummingbirds...but the memory's fading a bit these days. Awesome band - really tight live.
So very well done. Takes me back to the days of Universal Honey, The Murmurs, The Heartthrobs, Voice Of The Beehive......seems like many bands today are emulating this sound...
Yeah, Im hearing you....soooo many good, happy, lovin' times in Australia at the time....listening to this makes me smile!!! Where has the time gone though??
This is one of my favorite songs by anyone, ever. We had the pleasure of playing with them a few times in the '90s and they were one of the most inspiring bands I've ever run across.
My fave clouds song!! Saw their last show in San Francisco at bottom of the hill. The literally loaded off stage and headed to the airport.... Jodi's voice and melodies still makes all oooogly. Still in SF and still a fan.
This song always reminded me of one of my other favorite bands of that time period--the Blake Babies (in its rhythm, melody, chords, and general style), but I'm not sure the Clouds knew that band. Is it a coincidence or was that "sound" in the air in the early-to-mid 1990s?

I've got a couple tracks from Thunderhead up in HD on my channel: Bower Of Bliss & Universal. Clouds are great.

It was my life's ambition to marry one of the girls from the clouds when I was a uni student in 1993.
I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere.

When the girls hit the high harmonies at about 3:12, it's chill-inducing. Damn, I miss them.

Oh man. Jodi and Trish are so hot in this video...I was so obsessed as a younger fella about these guys.
Oh dear, this nostalgia is re-awakened something very primal. Great stuff...

If you need a song or artist to define the word 'harmony' - you've found it with Alchemy's Dead and Clouds.
