  • simply beautiful- such a glorious reason i need to go to india- hopefully one day! i truly wish to se diwali... maybe next season

  • I have always wanted to go visit india to see how beautiful their temples are., but then work would not permit me to do so... watching this video, makes me wanna imagine that i am touring around india.

  • In my childhood I hasve travelled and visited many South India temples. To my mind there seem to be more temples in South India compared to rest of this country.Correct me if I am wrong

  • Dear friend,it is not Dravidian culture but it is original ancient Hindu culture in its pure form as South was not much disturbed by Islamic invasions.

For example, those Agama rules of temples in south India is exactly same as was done in ancient Sivasthan in present day Kabul 2000 years ago.

Many people in India also dont know it!

North culture, greatly adulterated by Islamic invasion and rule.

  • @Saraswathiputra I do agree with you. The religion practised in South India is the most purest form of Hinduism. North India has been destroyed by Islamic invasions!

  • @Saraswathiputra

    What a Knowledge my friend.

    You Are Really 'Saraswathi-Putra'

    - May God Bless You...

  • Each time I see videos like these of Tamil Nadu, more I want to go there... I plan to go to Kerala, but as close as it is from Tamil Nadu, and being Tamil Nadu so different and so classical of India, I hope I won't miss it, because it would be a so great pity! I'm wishing to fall in love with South India and the Dravidian culture. I've actually had a contact with the Indian culture when I frequented a Hare Krishna temple here, and I read that South India was more genuine than the North! Namaste!

  • Great work, nice to see this kind of video.

  • The Spirit of South India

  • So much was destroyed, all over the world, by Islamic fundamentalism. Yet, this remains in India as a reminder of how it was virtually all over the world, even in Iran, Arabia, Central Asia, Europe. Post Christianity and post Islam, these regions have just totally wiped out their past. It has all come to shrink into the womb from where it all began in India.

Ironic/poetic/whatever..... but this has a force to it.

  • @shiva4ever All things must come to past. But India's past itself traces it's root in Africa!

  • @chiladin

It sure does and one is proud of it!

  • @shiva4ever Yes...India just seems like a very spiritual place. The images I saw were shocking cus I've never seen anything like it. It's surreal.I can feel the energy thru the PC let alone actually beig there.I gotta take a trip over there one day!

  • @chiladin To Africa ? You must be kidding my friend. There is no reference to Africa in the entire litterature of India. The root of humanity lies somewhere in the ocean India between Madagascar (East Africa) and Sri Lanka (South India), where the continent Kumari Kandam used to exist before it sunk! Underwater remains of ancient city have been found off Golf of Cambay and near Mahabalipuram offshore! No joke, just google and verify yourself.

  • saw some guys says tamil cultural is one of the ancient culture.... tamil culture isnt it hindu culture ?!

  • @meflex - Tamils unite by ethnicity and not by religion. And yes ofc it is the Hindu culture coz Islam and Christianity didn't reach India by then LOL!!

  • I know that I would "feel" more spiritual there. I am unable to find that feeling here in the states. Hopefully someday I can visit Arunachala, the holy place where my favorite holy man lived.

  • inida is nice

  • Wonderful job........Thanks for uploading this video.........May God bless you........

  • OM Shanthi

  • if the world treats you wrongly, then you have rights to bear arms and defend yourselves, if not, you need to pacify and cease your guerrilla attacks.

  • cease guerrila attacks, learn somebb history before spewing rubbishich. Sri Lanka is a Tamil land whiach was given to sinhalese cowards by the british. just like northern iraq was given to the arabs. don't talk because romania was ruled by the Soviet union.

  • do u want to compare romanians with tamils lol? tamils are a multicultural race who are found in dozens of countries. the whole of south east asia is Tamil and I'm a Malaysian Tamil for that matter. where do u find Romanians other than Romania. not only that when the british bastards brought in millions of chinese coolies to Malaya we allowed them to stay unlike the whites in america. so what have romanians achieved?

  • please help us tamils its one blood

  • thanks a million for this video, you have gained lots of punya for making thousands of people to imagine being in those sacred places. excellent work. keep it up. double thumbs up

  • Tamil culture is one of the oldest and greatest in the world.

  • is it just me, or does anyone notice a similarity in tamil artwork, and design, to the artwork of the far east countries and other asian countries

i mostly see similarities with tamil artwork, to cambodian, and thailand artwork

  • hello again :)

yepp, there is similarity cos Tamil kings "rode the monsoon winds and spread hinduism to the far reaches of SE asia".

theres a documentary called "the lost templesof india" on you tube, watch it.

  • sup bro.

yes that's definately for the south east asian part, with the influences of the Chola empire

and, the hindu empires that existed in south asia before, like srivijaya of indonesia, majapahit of almost the whole archipelago including philipines, and even the champa in vietnam

but i also find similarities in the artwork of china, and india

  • ur correct, there is some lineage

  • not only artwork, you can even see tamil culture in the written laguage too, example, have you ever looked at Thai writting? I accidently came upon it. Many Thai letters look very Tamil.

  • yeaa i noticed that, the letter P and the letter L is the same

  • Thats coz' tamil ruled those places. Check chozha empire under raja raja chozha

  • Tamils once invaded East asia maybe thats why tha art is similer

  • Amazing Video, I have seen many of these temples. I want to go back to India right now.

  • i am an Indian and i don have anything to do with the sri lankan tamil liberation movement. the government of india is quite strict when it comes to dealing with armed militants within its borders.. only a few have succeeded, like the maoists and the naxalites. anyways, that topic is grossly unrelated to whats being shown here.

  • amazing architecture

  • absolutely a work of art! :0)
