It seems obvious but in the heat of the moment and especially for fresh meat it's important to understand how to utilize your team members as part of a strategy, especially if someone's team doesn't start off in a good position. A lot of jammers fight for the inside line because it'll get them around the track the fastest and ignore the "friendly side" of their blockers on the outside.

I've seen opposing teams (our league anyway) use another team for a whip without them knowing it until it's too late. Soooo funny!
