Their prices are too high for residential usage. I just checked their units and prices. A large company could afford to buy them, but a home owner could not unless they have a small fortune handy.
I can see its utility for spot cooling but I suspect many folks here don't realize it's an air cooler NOT an air conditioner. That means if you put this in a closed room, like a garage, it will make the garage EVEN HOTTER.
@AIHAAYP wrong its an air conditioner .... if it was an air cooler you would have to fill it with water to humidify the air thus cooling it and making it more humid .... this is an AIR CONDITIONER you dont fill it with water .. this unit actually takes water out of the air making it let humid!!
