We had two of these, they got trashed, so i made a 4 wheel drive version out of the two, the chassis bolted together easy as it fits the same both ends, reversed the polarity on one of the motors, it was an inch too long for the shell so i sliced them up and made it into a mini pickup, it went like stink, but battery went quick too!
Anyone else notice the front-wheel drive setup? At 0:17 you can see the motor can, on the right of the screen, with the output obviously going to that axle, also on the right side. Then, notice the looong servo bar going all the way across half of the car length, the battery, and the motor for the steering control. Nice. Wonder what the handling characteristics would be like...understeer, anyone?
oh yeah.i want a rc mini cooper for x mas. haha NOT. go get a ferrari or someting

Really really nice! I got a Mini M01 back in 1994 and I still have it. Sure, it has some battle scars, but that's okay after 17 years. :)
