I think somebody switched out the bass players sheet music. He's playing in the wrong key and is a beat off.

Yeah because we were definitely using sheet music to play purple haze. And it is really hard to find the right key especially when you have to play the open E string.

If I remember correctly, I was using a Tube Driver. One of the original ones which was a big fat box in a metal casing with an ungrounded cable. Good shit, I wish I still had that thing. Thanks for watching.

Yes, lifted from the HBO christmas special 'Emmit Otter's Jugband Christmas'. Emmit and the gang had to face at the Battle of the Bands with 'The Riverbottom Nightmare Band'which included a large angry bear and a singing snake that swam around in an aquarium. Good stuff, Man I'm getting old.
