My s13 has a carbon japspeed wing. The boots been plated up underneath the mountings and the wings still managed to make impression dents on the boot where its been pushing down.

A spoiler will provide more downforce at speed, pushing the driving wheels hard on the ground, hence being used on rwd cars, Simple...

Its ridiculous to say that a spoiler is used purely for aesthetics on these cars.

I just put one on my s14. And I swapped the engine for a sr20det. Installed an intake and bought some o-z 18.5 inch rims. Tinted it too. :) Spoilers are purely ascetics now days.

wings don't work on drift cars, they are designed to give down force straight into the wind, if you drift with a wing at 150kph you might have 200kg of down force in a straight line but once you get big angle it will drop below 50kg, this gives you a false scene of traction + you will have less traction were you need it and wings disturb the balance of a car wile drifting, pretty much dead weight hehe.... wonder if this will start a argument lol

Wings will help the airflow, and also add a bit more weight to the back, even though they are drifting, you still need alot of grip in the back, otherwise it would just spinout..
