  • @Trogdorbad haha i love the big bang theory <3

  • i swear i am like 50% of these views.

  • haha the fat dude looks like jack black :))

  • fact is that you can play it all with any chord progression with the same distances as shown here. but the chords are indeed the one kris273 put up

  • The piano player just has a great voice

  • @hinkamperj Benny is rather amazing.

  • @hinkamperj I like Lee[(the guitar player)s as well.

  • the 4 chords are F C Dm abd Bb

  • @aliceewhitehead Sorry but they're E, B, Cm and A

  • @xIx3V3VxIx ok..... if you really wan't to believe that they are E,B,Cm and A then you can! but i know i'm right ;)

  • @aliceewhitehead If you watch the guitarist hands you can see the chords :')

  • @aliceewhitehead Sorry to be a pain but the chords are in fact

    E major (1) - 1

    B Major (5) - 2

    C# Minor (6)-3

    A Major (4) -4

One of the most common chord progressions there are about today. In this case from the Key of E major

  • @Kris273

That's exactly the chord progression where he's talking about. btw, u are now naming the chords from a scale, but its better to call this progression I-V-VI-IV, since this code is applyable to all scales.

  • @rdezoveelste That's correct but he left out the c# which is fairly important. And the only reason I did not use roman numerals is to try not to confuse people more. I teach using that method :-)

  • @xIx3V3VxIx C# Minor

  • C# Minor mate

  • @aliceewhitehead Wrong!

  • its just fucking AWESOME!

  • Toally looks like Jack black in the middle with short hair, admit it.

  • is theres a place to find the lyrics for this version?

  • 4 people just wrote a I-V-vi-IV song.

  • what are the 4 chords.?? :) x

  • @Alssk1 They're E, B C#m, and A

  • @5256sulli pretty easy on guitar

  • this is just genius how they have managed to do this just frikin awesome go on

  • The Song by 4:13 calls Robert Burns - Auld Lang Syne

  • why does everybody give different chord! I WANT REAL!

  • @bobino378 it's all really the same set of chords, just transopsed. G, C, F and A is one form while G#, C#, F# and B will do the same job, with a lot more effort on the piano

  • @bobino378 >ITS NOT HARD TO LISTEN TO BY EAR! IF YOU HAVE JUST THE SLITEST GUITAR SKILL YOU WOULD FIGURE THIS OUT IN NO TOME!!!!!!

  • @passionoflovers Time* THAT IS!!!!

  • just look at that picture it freaking awesome

  • if any of you knew how music works and that there are only a couple of chords you can actually use to keep your song in key, you wouldn't be so quick to judge musicians. there are also more difficult versions of chords, and those are often what the musicians use. Please don't try to act like you know anything about music theory if you have no idea what you are talking about. Thanks

  • 4:10 lol is that what ill ferrel sings at the end of step brothers?

  • am i not pretty enough, is my heart to bro..........double time

  • Comment removed

  • @Kobelstones sure kid go fuck yourself

  • @yrtsg I was just thinking the same thing xD

  • for guitar it's G Em D C. not in order

  • @yrtsg the intervals are right. it would be G major>D major>E minor>C major

but in all the versions i heard including this, they play E major>B major>C# minor>A major

  • @yrtsg

    Wrong, dumb ass.

    They play it in F

  • @LHSax27 wrong, dumb fuck i was talking about the chords not the key

  • @yrtsg Sit at a piano, dumb ass. They are playing it in F. The chords they use are I, V, vi, IV (That's 1, 5 minor 6, and 4). In the key of F, that's Fmajor, Cmajor, Dminor, and Bb major.. Learn some music theory, kid. If you're playing it on your guitar that way, your guitar is out-of-tune.

  • @LHSax27 i don't play the piano and it sounds perfectly fine when i play it on the guitar kid

  • @yrtsg It actually probably doesn't, you're just too stupid to realize it. and, if you were a musician, you could sit down at a piano and find an "F" on the piano. I'll give you a hint, there's more then one!

The chords you gave aren't I, V, vi, IV, so they're not going to be right. No matter what order you put them in, they are wrong, lol. Learn some music theory

  • @LHSax27 music isn't a theory and lack of knowledge isn't stupidity. i don't care much for music and I do not play the PIANO. you can say whatever you want and i can say whatever i want whether it is wrong or right. people can choose to believe me or you it really doesn't matter

  • @yrtsg "Music isn't a theory?" What are you, stupid? No, it's not. But there is this thing called "Music Theory." For stupid people like yourself, it's everything about music. Chords, Intervals, Scales, all that good stuff, which you really need knowledge of. Don't try to pass off you're knowledge of nothing on youtube. You know nothing of what you're talking about, music related. and, Lack of Knowledge is ignorant. You can't even match pitch, obviously

  • @LHSax27 Music isn't a theory actually. Music comes from the person themselves. Lots of great musicians, can't read music. You don't need to know all about the theory behind what you're doing to do it. As long as it sounds good, does it really matter if the person fully understands intervals?

Music is a personal thing. Having a piece of paper saying you're grade 8, doesn't necessarily make you better than somebody that doesn't even have grade 1. Why are you trying to make music academic?

  • @ThisIsNotAva You people are understanding wrong....it's poorly worded. "Music Theory" isn't a theory...it's more like "How to Play 101" or the basics of music..so, just for example, if I were studying "Music Theory" in college I'd be learning how to time intervals and which chords match which, not paperwork or whatever you guys are thinking. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now but I don't think I'm god at it or anything, but I had to study music theory to learn the basics first.

  • @LHSax27 piano isn't the epitome of instruments...you're probably just butthurt cause he likes guitar better then piano and/or because most people prefer guitar over piano

  • @DarkJoker7 You're right, which is why I'm a saxophone player majoring in saxophone performance. I'm just not a fucking retard, and I can play more than one instrument. Including guitar.

Piano is the easiest to sit down and figure out what notes are being played. Obviously this guy isn't a musician, and neither are you, so your guitars probably aren't going to be in tune. and if they are, they're probably tuned to something stupid like drop D or C, or D tuning.

  • @LHSax27 yeah...and your gonna be a robot because you having other people teach you how to play...if thats what being a musician means =) i don't want to be one...and tunings have nothing to do with intelligence...so try again =) your just butthurt

  • @DarkJoker7 Obviously, you know nothing about music, so just sit down.

  • @LHSax27 and obviously you have no raw talent because you rely on "knowing music" ha...a true musician doesn't need someone to teach him how to make his music he just makes it...only robots need a programmer

  • @DarkJoker7 That's completely false. You can't slap random shit together and call it music. If you don't know what you're doing, you're just going to put random shit down and none of it is going to follow any kind of patter and it's not going to be melodic at all. Such is the problem with stupid fucking kids today who are in their little hardcore screamo bands or what the fuck ever

  • @LHSax27 actually you can and it comes with a little thing called soul...and you have none =) good luck following orders the rest of your life

  • @LHSax27 alot of popular artists nowadays are doing just that. making a simple beat and repeating the same four words over and over again. if you actually have some talent you can slap random shit together and call it music. and as quoted from august rush "music can't be taught from books, it's all around us"

  • @dagenad01 "If you actually have some talent"?...Doesn't take much to sing 4 words into a mic then synthesize a beat with machines into the background. Todays music sucks, go listen to Neil Young or someone similar, who actually had to sit down and record their instruments while they sang instead of just saying a bunch of cuss words 4 times and making 40mil off it so they can snort their crap because sheep like you buy it 'cuz the rapper has some stupid back-story of being shot 9 times.
