You know what I just realized? The math that George does. Does he have a calculator behind that piece of paper? If not, he's pretty good at quick addition and subtraction.

@iwashungry4hands Actually portable calculators weren't invented until the mid-1970s and even then they were about the same size as a standard Blackberry and just a little thicker. It's mentioned in several books written about Groucho that Mr. Fenneman actually got the job not only because he was a very good announcer who looked good on camera, but also because he was able to add and subtract in his head very quickly.
