You mean the Newer 2012 TOYOTA COROLLA wasn't build to last like this 1978 or 1975 TOYOTA COROLLA,but don't insult the new technically and electrically advance cars .I agree with you that the vast majority things that were built from 1920's to 1990's were built to last for many decades in advance because there was no eazy leasing of Bently Continental Sport Coupe,Rolls Royce Phantom and many other luxury cars.The life span of average product is usually under 10 years now.

I don't know if the Laugh In thing sold it or the "all new for 69" negro in a mustang commercial did the trick. Or was it the Partridge / Brady / Cowsill band. I think this commercial should be required in 8th grade study groups when reviewing the 60's. Good car dreadful scenery.
