i get 19200 x1200 max settings with v synch gtx 570 stock clocks and phenom ii x4 955 @ 3,2ghz 8gb ddr3 60fps drops to 45 sometimes.

and it runs so perfectly with a gtx 570? Is it with the new direct x 11 patch? I ask, because i doubt, if a 570 will be enough for all the new games (maxed out), or if i should buy a 580. Thx for the answer ;)

@3blblbl2 570 will be enough, but the 580 will most likely be a better future proof card.

@PS3LUV3R yes the 580 would be a better future proof, but not for long. The GTX 570 is practically the best bang for the buck gpu, since its around 300$ and simply when you start to lag on games upgrade or get another 570 in sli, the 570 scale great in sli

@3blblbl2 Get 580 if you have the money. It's only 10-15% better than the 570.

@3blblbl2 the only game you may not be able to run is the new METRO 2033 in max but even the 580 has trouble with that so you shouldn't worry

And this FPS are with fraps or w/o? And do you mean that CPU bottlenecking your GPU ?

There's no bottleneck at all Q9650 4Ghz is more than enough to keep feeding the 570 .

@GuardMod Thanks for uploading this video. I have a Q9650 running at stock speeds and plan on getting the GTX 570 2.5 gig card. I'm hearing a lot of talk about bottlenecking (I'm fairly new to the topic). Do you think my cpu will be a bottleneck to the card? Thanks for your time.
