  • assburgers

  • he's life must be pretty boring lol

  • haha 2:38 - 2:40 look at the first two numbers!

  • Comment removed

  • Genius here, walking through

  • lol music is like numbers happening really really fast in your head, what a nerd.

  • hes no Kim Peek

  • that's how i add things up my brain lines it up and i calculate things really quickly but that just makes you really used to numbers

  • i've seen someone like him in our country and according to him he uses a formula to solve of whatever day, date or year u want him to guess.

  • What about the number 23...

  • what a loser. practical smarts>this

  • @zackhanscom you say that as if he caused his genuis and consequently his social awkwardness...you my friend are an ignoramus

  • yesterday was Thursday..thursday.. today it is friday..friday. we..we..we so excited

  • This is an autistic savant, suffers from savant syndrome. Not a genius just a human calculator.

  • The calculator genius is a FRAUD because @ 0:59 he counted with his fingers LMAO!

  • he has a more severe case of asperger's syndrome it looks like. i have a mild version of it, but i'm not a savant. he doesn't have to do calculations, they are done by his brain for him without thinking. i want to have TMS done to my brain, and unlock some of that...even if it is only for a short time.

  • this doesn't mean shit try doing vector cal and some shit like this this is just patterns sure i probably can't do it as fast but i cud still do it

  • this is a trick, not very difficult. Anybody who knows congruence can do that. He mixes some data and fast calculation. This guy is not a genius for just doing this. People who live on their own tend to repeat the same thinkings for years and end up getting this type of ability with calculations. Dont mistify this.

  • @PedroPedroPedrao

Well Pedro, if it is soooooo easy we are all looking forward to your upload.

  • @johnnybravo2869 I did not say it is easy, but that is just a trick, nothing special. Study congruence mod 7 and you will understand what I am saying. If you know the days of the week of a few dozens dates, you can use them as references and make congrunce mod 7 to reach the desired date. With fast calculation ability, some memory and practice, it is possible to do that in a few seconds. It is that simple! Anyway, anybody can upload fake performances but that is not the point.

  • @PedroPedroPedrao exactly =.=

  • @PedroPedroPedrao It's actually very possible to calculate it mentally. I'm good at mental calculations, I'm no savant, but I can calculate the day of the week for any given date in about 20 seconds. As you say, you need to have a good memory, but not to remember reference points, but rather to remember offsets and associated numbers with months and years, in addition to remembering the algorithms behind it. It's actually very simple.

  • @TeachMeProperDancin This guy just have much more practice and has greatly improved the algorithm. This is the reason he does that faster.

  • @PedroPedroPedrao Yep, sure, but let's not forget that he didn't sit down to learn how to do this, he just one day realized he actually knew what day any given date is going to land on.

  • @PedroPedroPedrao he's some sort of a savant, which more likely to calculate problems just its like a second nature to him. I can calculate days too, but it always took me 15 secs or more to get figure it out using the formula. But for them its different, they don't need no formula, they create they're own. It's a rare condition.

  • If you could direct this power towards science he would get Nobel probably

  • @Mrjaguarpaw1 pretty sure what he does, unfortunately, will never have value on a level approaching something like nobel. pointless or wasted genius, both are annoying as fuck.

  • @Mrjaguarpaw1 No true genius needs to UNDERSTANDS, he doesn't he just somehow figure the mod 7 trick. I bet on a average + brain everyone has figured something by themselves. E.g when i was 6 i figured the importance of zero and what does it exist.

  • @Mrjaguarpaw1 No, true genius needs to UNDERSTANDS, he doesn't, he just somehow figure the mod 7 trick. I bet on a average + brain everyone has figured something by themselves. E.g when i was 6 i figured the importance of zero and why does it exist.

  • @hunkeelin My guess is that many people who want to be entitled genius say that they dont calculate, they say that the answer just comes to their minds. My guess is that they are lying. They are in fact calculating in the same way as anybody else, but they do that in a much faster way since they have a lot of practice. My guess this is the case with this guy. And if you ask him to do something a little bit different from that, guess what?

  • @PedroPedroPedrao No he does not calculate the answer, it just comes to mind. Did you not here?! He is autistic! Meaning he is an autistic savant, his brain is mainly 'programed' to deal with numbers is all.

  • @PedroPedroPedrao

look up daniel tamett and prepare to have your assumptions blown out of the water!!

  • @wittenberg5 Different abilities, this one has a good way of memorizing, he may say anything but is just memorizing numbers. I bet he can do only such things.

  • kim peek rapes this guy

  • @AmirAdzim the song said it,but not everything u listen 2 is true.

  • The real life Rainman.

  • Is it true that we only use 10% of our brian.

  • @1939PlymouthRatRod no it isn't

  • I wonder if he could teach Rebecca Black what day it is?

  • But he can't tell be how many seconds are in a year! can u?

  • @Kinghtofgamblers well, according to kris allen's Live Like We're Dying song, we have 86,400 seconds in a day. so 86.4k x 365/366 = 31.536M/31.6224M seconds :)

  • bet he cant come up with the correct mileage of how long my dick is.

  • I am watching pom.

I bet you read this wrong=D

  • @Mumsilius sneaky bastard :D

  • @Mumsilius haaha

  • hmmmmm he should help me with my math homework

  • BRUCE LEE WOULD DOMINATE!!!! youtube.com watch?v=DdEzIFHxnCA

  • after a research i found how to do the same, but i really like your brain

  • You're born a genius,case closed.

  • asperger's.

  • this is dumb

  • 0:42 the scientist was tryin to keep it coo

  • the free tips at squidoo(dot)com/raise-your-iq will help you raise your IQ.

  • he is not a genius...

  • @Richux18 Then let's see you do it.

  • If you gave me a little flat, internet connection and an unlimited food supply for the rest of my life... I would be happy.

  • Genius? No. Autistic, quite possibly.

  • AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! wut kinda autism mine aussburgers -_-' i dont get it if they wanna cure us by y do we kno a lil bit more than ppl? & yes im dumb like any other kid w/an IEP & ya we r a lil dumber how do i kno, i dont get very big words & kids/bullies called me dumb & i aint socialalbe 2other ppl 2prove it tell me a big word that u kno fine tell me im an idiot/makein it up fine its true look @my channel descript 2proove it also.no im not tryin 2get vid views so shut up about it :)

  • i knew i begger in my city, for some money or a cigarette he would tell you the day of a date i choose, just like the guy in video.Shame he had wasted his life :)

  • What 's his name?

  • 2:37, 69

  • lol...giness world record for geekness....

  • Modular Mathematics.

  • He's a Bamf

  • He is virgin and will never get laid. Thats for shore.

  • Autistic people tend to have great memory or mathematical skills but unfortunately they don't know how to apply to real world:( if only.

  • he is like the dude from matrix that could see the actual world and objects in the matrix just by watching a screen of o and 1

  • nerd

  • Seriously, everyone has a part of genius in them, when you're a kid, you can have super memory ( i remember I had super memory that faded once I hit grade 1).

Also, (though this isn't good), when I smoked a little pot (I HATE IT THOUGH), I started hearing music, that I never heard of before, left ear Jazz, right ear rock. It was my mind creating it real time (songs I never heard before).

I believe we all have some untapped capabilities hidden in the brain.

  • Did you just accidently the whole thing?

  • OCD

  • This reminds me of my best friend lol

  • @CHRISTMASBASTARD your best friend has autism and is social awkward?

  • @KuostA yes

  • I bet he dont know the color of my underwear

  • @TreskyTheKid grey

  • @TreskyTheKid

    If that was me.

"Numbers follow Craig wherever he goes, he considers them his friends"

Me: (Turns around and yells at the floating numbers) "Fuck oooooooooffffffff!!!!!!!!"

  • @TreskyTheKid I bet u have no underwear

  • @Pmobileee correct!! :D

  • @TreskyTheKid haha! lol :)

  • @TreskyTheKid Blue

  • @TreskyTheKid Green.

  • @TreskyTheKid hah, trick question...what underwear?

  • @austybosty1919 aha! correct... whatttt underwear.. comando is the way to go

  • @TreskyTheKid i bet neither do you

  • @TreskyTheKid

It's too difficult, man, even your girlfriend doesn't know..

  • @noamchoco Its because she takes em off too fast :D boo yahhh!

  • @TreskyTheKid

    haha xD you win

  • @noamchoco :D (High five) Yeeeuhhhh! Thug life!

  • @TreskyTheKid Right now you're wearing black and blue boxers with shit stains...And some jizz.

  • Holy shit do you people use Internet Explorer or something? What the fuck? Just refresh OR get adblock. Simple.

  • he should play black jack.

  • why is it always some stupid shit like being able to tell what day christmas will fall on in 100 years? i wouldn't consider that genius. now come up with the cure for AIDS or discover free energy, that would be something worth a national geographic tv spot

  • That's bullshit !! He's NOT the world 's best Calendar Calculator !!! He is not even competing in any Calculation World Cup, I guess he is not even in the top-20 !! Plus he is clearly an Aspie. Check the Calendar World Records here if you want by Googling : ' calendar dates world record ' Cheers!!

  • the paintor one is gay

  • i hated school i know where hes coming from

  • 4 and half minutes and no word about Savant?

  • Anybody watch that Claire Danes movie? It was so good. Temple Grandin. Anyways I think that guy at the beginning with the fucked up hat is totally right. You simply have to be confident enough to allow your 'genius', to come through. I bet you if NationalGeo did a special on it. Probably some chemical reaction to self awareness, would set off other parts of the brain, maybe even 'hidden'/locked away parts.

  • It's interesting how mathematical autists feel a real "love" for numbers, like we'd love a person.

  • He obviously made up a formula...and mastered it. It's obviously going to have some sort of pattern...

  • @Torkulguy id bet money your an athiest.

  • @infintiyward I am. Why does that matter?

  • @infintiyward Learn how to spell "INFINITY" LOL!

  • Get firefox if you don't want commercials

  • hmmn i would really want to meet a genious like that one day

  • I hope I can be him

  • The title of this video is accurate. A genius is usually someone who influences the world such as: Einstein, Leonardo, Gandhi, Tesla, Mozart, et cetera.

  • kim peek was better, sadly he died 19th december 2009

  • @YurippeSan Well I consider Daniel Tammet better than this guy and he has a youtube account lol

  • That guy who can calculate dates is just guessing, we're just to lazy to see if hes right XD

  • doing calendars is actually a very simple trick simply remember the first day of every month for example january 1 2010 was a friday so if you want to know what it would have been in 1982 it would also be a friday as every 28 years is a repeat if you need to go back by say 4 years it should fall on a sunday since every 4 years is a leap day if you want to know 2014 i can guarantee it will fall on wednesday once you get to the year and month it is all about adding 7's and then 1's from there on

  • @ultradumbass I verified, just to try to prove you wrong but you're right! Jan.1st 2014 is a Wednesday!

  • @domdom111111 you should add me to MSN. i can show you other tricks such as how to calculate high mathematical problems in your head without thinking.

  • @ultradumbass Your username totally contradicts what you say. xD

  • @GayDessert i am a very sarcastic and humourous person in real life:)

  • @ultradumbass ya but it looks like that isn't his only trick

  • @parkeryoung i have more than one way to do things also. but like me i am sure he does whatever is simplest. but also i change my trick depending on what the year is based on whether the number is odd, even or prime. just like when i do high math i usually look at the numbers before i start calculating them. i will do you 2 digit number multiplication though i can do 4 or 5 but i want to be simple since my trick is complex to a beginner.

  • @parkeryoung let's say we did 27 times 92. a good trick is do 3 times 92 which is 276. then times it by 10. which is 2760. now do 2760 minus 200 which is 2560. then minus another 70 and it is 2490. then minus 6 more and you got 2484. or another way to do the same answer is do, 9 times 20 which is 180. then add a new zero and get 1800. then do 9 times 7 equals 63 plus 0 equals 630. 630 plus 1800 is 2430. then do 2 times 27 equals 54 and add that to 2430 and get 2484. tell me if i am right:)

  • @ultradumbass exept that this guy does it in about .5 seconds

  • @xchibikyubix just like me. i don't see what your point is here. can you even count to 5? lol. i wrote how i do it so that people see there is a logic and there is nothing made up about what i say.

  • @ultradumbass First. Don't try to insult me. Second. Not that I was saying that your way is made up, just that he does it superfast in his head

  • @xchibikyubix pfffff that's not an insult. if i wanted to insult you it could easily be done. second of all i can do it really fucking fast as well. i am a very good pattern finder and such, and if you consider me replying to you insulting, then i wonder what that comment was about you saying how he does it fast. are you assuming based on a mere user name on youtube that i myself can't quickly calculate dates?

  • @ultradumbass ironic username ftw

  • otism definitaion the sterotype for the average retarded (mentalyhandicapped) person :(

  • @miiror13 You do realize how retarded that sentence was, don't you?

  • Oh noes! I can't socialize that's so important. . . .. .not

  • @Brust90 Intellectual intuition is the secret to genius in my book. This stuff is going in the opposite direction. Check out these quotes on intuition: intuition dot vivit dot com and it's links and the links from those links. You can also find stuff, a lot silly, but some good it you Google - intuition is the secret to genius. The ones who have said that include Socrates, Aristotle, Kant, Descartes, Max Plank, Einstein and so forth. It is needed to handle modern complexity. Test it and see.

  • @Brust90 Oh, and the reason I replied to your comment, it's also the way to understanding people, relationships, charisma, popularity and I find with me, compassion and happiness. That guy is going the opposite way, as you can see. All I ask is that you check it out and test it. The scientific method.

  • I can do over 30 random calendar calculations per minute. For me, that's not sign of genious but pure practice. If that guy here was good enough to become World Calendar Champion he could come to compete against us in the Calculation World Cup last month.

  • lol 0:40 its a gangster scientist lol :)

  • Holy shit the dude at 3:36 has the same birthday as me!! :D

  • Calendar calculating isn't genius

  • @Temporaryaccount2 I would like to see you do it.

  • Its good that hes coped with his OCD

  • hahahaha, the sideways hat was funny.

  • Hehe... 2:40 = 69

  • This guy should be at NASA or the next President idk someone important or maybe just Teach us how to do what he does so people might be smarter

  • I HAVE STARTED ARMAGEDDON.

  • he's the one, when time collapses, who is going to put it together again and pretend to be a bird-god or something. The people of clarity. Screw truth. Clarity to experience.

  • he's desperate and his brain requires constant stimuation. I don't think he's autistic so much as depressed to apathy.

Join the club, but I have a difficult time not fraying to stupid. My internal clock is special, and I can smell sense things. You'll just know the answer and how to say it is sometimes complicated. What he's doing is creating charts and hard logic. Somethings are always true. Most people don't pick up on this. A lot of them together create very solid arguments.

  • I like to do the whole "Tell me a date and I'll tell you what day of the week it was on" trick. All you have to do is get someone to give you a date and then act like you're thinking for a few seconds and then say a day of the week. Absolutely no one checks to see if the answer was right. It's hilarious! I also do the "Give me a date and I'll tell you what the weather was like" trick. Whether you can really give days of the week or you're just tricking idiots, no one ever checks anything.

  • @TubeScavenger The people who are asking already know what the answer is you banana brain. They check before they ask.

  • @frankovich213 So the people I pull this on come equipped with a list of days and dates and what the weather was like on that day? You obviously don't know how to read. I was talking about what I've done, not what the guy in the video does.

  • @TubeScavenger Yes I do know how to read. You alluded to the notion that this exercise is just a trick when you said "I like to do the whole blah blah blah trick".

Your comment could have been interpreted in two different ways. 1)That this is just a trick and you like to pull it on people too. or 2)That this is real but you do a fake version of it and manage to fool people.

With the lack of information given, it was logical to assume you were implying this is a trick.

  • My grandmother has a similar ability to this man. What is surprising, is that she actually does not calculate. The answers pop into her mind, and she sees numbers floating in her mind and drawing patterns, according to what she says. Her memory for trivial data is impressive, even though this gift comes for a price.

But what is the use of genius when you let it rot away. It is said that accomplishement is what gives value to powerful minds.

  • 69... hehe

  • already bin done why is he gettin all da credit for it...

  • I can count to 100 so there

  • what would be the practical application to his skill?

  • #LOL

  • i can do 18 dates per minute

  • @Neueregel then do it looser!!!

  • @jalzalaa Now think. You're the total loser. In fact, you cannot even spell the word loser. You're just another incompetent borderline cyber troll that offers nothing to conversations

  • @Neueregel dude...stop talking and show it to the world...u think ur a genius...but i think ur a mad jealous nothing that offers nothing good to the world we live in...

  • @jalzalaa It's not a bad thing to learn people becoming rapid at math, imo. Maths are the theoritical basis on which technology is built, which makes the computer you have right now possible. And every bank transaction you made, is literally based on cryptography and modular arithmetics

  • That's incredible!!!

  • ive had the uncanny ability to take something apart learn it and put it backtogether again and make it even better all without instructions ive done this with machines also

  • Determining the day of the week of a predetermined date is easy... that's actually an old magician's trick, more of a mentalist one though.

Some magicians friend of me ca do it faster than he does. Im not very impressed : /

  • how the hell is that even possible? thats insane!

  • For those who are interested, a man named Daniel Tammet has similar abilities, and can describe what he sees in his mind as he performs various calculations.

There is a lot we can learn from these amazing people, not the least of which is that humans are capable of amazing things we might not expect. Perhaps a bit of that amazingness lives (or sleeps) within us all.

  • I can recite the multiples of 1-100 in just one hour.

  • @Xaijen

Because of a natural ability or from learning and practicing them? Have you considered making a video of it (at least of a small portion)? ;)

If you're being sarcastic, I guess you got me. What exactly do you mean by multiples, because I understand the multiples of any number are infinite?

  • i was watching this and they say if yo uget shocked you will become like this

  • Thank you for posting this

  • Those artistic impulses are propably a way of problem solving. It might solve the problem, if he would take some artist with thinking skills as his forefigure.

  • These kind of people are important when we don't have computers to figure this stuff out.

  • maybe he is a savant...

  • How does this warrant the "genius" title?

  • Exactly - it's a gift but certainly doesn't qualify the title genius.

  • @zumbielclockwork

Savant would probably be a more correct term. I wonder if this guy is good at other kinds of calculating? Since he really seems to love numbers, I would guess so.

  • If you really had brains...you wouldn't be wasting your time this way...and if you can't understand what I mean...then please don't try!

  • If I walk on the street letting people think I am calculating but I am just saying numbers not a hard thing to do

  • This is kind of unrelated, but I noticed his accent. I think that if you're going to have a southern accent, it should be like this guy's. It's just the right amount of 'accent' without being overwhelming as a lot of other southern accents can be.

    p.s. Interesting vid!
