  • When was this aired? Couldn't have been too far before his past? RIP

  • i was never an Ian Dury fan, but I just watched the movie sex & drugs&rock &roll...very impressed with the story. what an artist!

  • Great guy but was he exploited. Polio immunisation has never prevented a single case of polio. The polio virus has never been isolated because it doesn't exist. DDT and other pesticides cause polio and that's a fact. Nowadays they just change the name of the diseases to infantile paralysis and guilliane barre syndrome but that's the pharmaceutical industry for you. They're liars on a monumental scale.

  • @tkidcharlemagne You are so clearly deranged I won't waste any time trying to refute your insane argument. Geez, what a moron!

  • @moisiemo Ahh bless his dumb little ass. Do the research. It's irrefutable but of course you can't look. Cognitive dissonance can be a terrible affliction. ;-)

  • Pure Angry Humantarian Genius Sir Ian dury.

    Knighted in Skill.

  • @heptarchia love this man

  • I liked Ian from the first time I heard him. I suppose he was considered British Punk at the time, but he crossed lines that drew me in. It's not that I didn't care for his contemporaries, I did, it's just that he had a way of bringing the silly parts of normal life into it that wasn't so political, or anti-society based and still held up the image. There are plenty of other examples over the years, and the Stranglers and Dick Hell are two at the time, but Ian did it with such charm. Thanks.

  • The King is dead,Long live the King!

  • miss you loads

  • Still missing you Ian,God bless.

  • Bless Ian Dury, he will always be in style, those of us in the know, know.

  • going to to see blockheads tommoreow

    with phil jupitus

    not a waste

  • Got that right pal!

  • I remember half watching this when it was first on tele. It was shown a few months before he died. It's a shame I didn't watch this special when it was first on. I've only just got into his music, he'll be sadly missed. And that bastard Geldof jynxing poor Ian. Bloody sell out... I'm on about Geldof btw.

  • But Mr.Love Pants is from 96.

  • When where these recordings done? I'm gonna guess it was '98/'99, Promoting the "Mr Love-Pants" album.

    Am I right turkeypants?
