@Belmont2500 Well, I didn't see the original until I was quite a bit older. The Western one just sorta stuck with me in a nostalgic way. It seemed to be a bit more slapstick, which works for a little fella. All bright colors and funny sounds lol. I agree with you though. The first one is much deeper emotionally. Y'know what I don't get though, and maybe not seeing these films for years has something to do with it, is that in #1, NYC, #2 Arizona or something, and then back to Manhattan! WTF!?

@VGAfanatic Yeah I know this one seems so much more up beat and fun, and your right about the villain, with John Cleese as his voice it gives him much more personality and flavor than the original villain plus he's got a Jon Lovitz voiced spider sidekick to give comic relief. Overall you just have more of a fun and enjoyable time watching this one, its a shame that it didn't do so good at the theaters.

I counted 13, which is in fact possible, if Fievel pulled out a third gun for that final shot. But either way, Its only a dream sequence, so it doesn't have to be realistic.
