  • so many smart people in this world and they still dnt get wht a church truly is,,,u u u u and i can b ah church,,,that gate is so wide and its ah shame tht only ah few of us are goint to make it through,,,,so simple,,,so easy n everybody always makes it so difficult..god bless

  • Glad to see that you have your eyes fully open because you hit it right in the rose ! The disbelievers think not only that civilization can live without religion but worse: Without God. The Holy Mother the Church will always survive - no question about that ! May be Islam is Europe's punishment !! And once they realize that they will return to Holy Mother the Church IF it is not too late !!! The last Prophet who came before Christ the savior was John the Baptist to prepare his coming. None after

  • this kind of monuments is not only a place or house of God but it also represent the riches of culture of one country for telling how great they are for having that kind of historical backgrounds!

  • With all due respect but what are you trying to say. You feel better that way??? It remains what it is: The house of God and only that: THE HOUSE OF GOD. The rest is unimportant. That is for the tourists.

  • ALL CHURCHES are under the rule of satan at this time; 1 Peter 4:17 and 2 Thessalonians 2, among many other verses throughout the King James Bible. Remember God did not always have and use churches; first He used individuals like Noah and Moses, then it went to the nation of Israel, then it went to the churches in 33AD until 1988, when the church age ended. God is done with ALL CHURCHES, I REPEAT, ALL CHURCHES NOW RULED BY SATAN BY GOD'S PLAN. You can find all this in a King James Bible.

  • Its very good that Spain and Portugal has spread catholicism in their colonies. At least people in South America, some parts of the Africa, Central America, Philippines and East Timor still pray and go to Mass. Is there hope for Europe's renewal of Faith to the Lord?

  • You got that right! And if we could have continued to spread the faith over the whole world with good missionaries the world would have been a much more peaceful place today. The UN can not do that because they have no place for God. There is always hope but we must pray a lot and may be the Good Lord will have to teach as a lesson to put us back on our knees. Otherwise we will see 1917 all over again and worse !!!! God bless

  • It just breaks my heart when I see what is happening in Europe. How did this happen? How did so many Europeans come to abandon God and their faith?

  • People are spoiled rotten and think they don't need God or even worse, don't even believe in Him anymore. There is always hope but something terrible must first happen to make people get on their knees and ask for mercy. Then and only then we can start rebuild our holy Church. God bless us all.

  • There are some churches here in america that was once beautiful pieces of archecture. Now some sit desolate and in ruins is some cities. That one in Gary Indiana just breaks my heart at how beautiful it once was and now it's in ruins. I go to I think a beautiful church that's 90 years old with a greek style to it. There are some in New York,NY that are still beautiful. It just seems as though america is losing it's faith little by little. methodistgirl
  • Its so sad that this has happened. These beautiful cathedrals were built to glorify God, and only God. They were made as places of worship, places that would remind us of the beautiful splendors of heaven. Over the years, as culture and countries changed.. this has been forgotten. People care little for places like this anymore, but I love them. There are no cathedrals here in America, I would give anything to go to Europe.. just to gaze upon these masterpieces of a time long ago.

  • Every cathedral I hav seen has been awe inspiring!

  • In Portugal cathedrals aren't very big like in France or Spain, but they are always special and beautiful buildings; you feel respect for something greater than you...it's trully a place to encounter good in the silence of our hearts.

  • A lot of Europeans are moving away from God. Now the religion popular in Europe is Muslim. At least there are a lot of Christians in America. ^^

  • Whatever a Muslim believes in it will never replaces Christ - Son of the Almighty God so they all better wake up.

  • ths 4 posting that video!

  • Cathedrals are the main reason why I absolutely want to go to Europe someday. The incredible amount of work in all the little details of those churches totally blow me away.

  • seeing this makes want to go to europe just to check out the churches/cathedrals, nothing else.....well maybe see a soccer game or two

the detailed work always amazed me

    thanks

  • Western Europe has totally abandoned God, the churches are empty and everyone thinks that all this came from nothing.

At least many of our eastern and southern brothers are doing better.

It's rare to find a person with faith in today's Sweden.

  • Sad but so true. We must pray very much for the lost souls before it is too late.

  • Sad indeed! A Continent that has abandoned God but I believe God has not yet abandoned Europe!

    Amen!

  • Agree. God will never abandon his people but first He might teach us all a good lesson.

  • Yes,we fully agree! You should have learned that from the narration covering this movie!!!

Not all are ateist but many have exchanged Christ for a certain Mohammed and that is worse!

  • so many stone !! so many monuments but there is something missing !! whre are the bealivers? the churches are empty and this is sad !! Europe is becoming a ateist continent !!

  • What a beautiful video for people of faith and lovers of great cathedrals. Thank you!

  • Thank you kindly. May God bless you.

  • 2 Cor.[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

  • It's very sad what's happened to Europe and its faith. I'm happy that in Poland churches are still full of faithful and even new churches are to be built. In my local church there are 5/6 Masses every Sunday and even though it's sometimes hard to get closer to the altar. But it I'm afraid it will change in the future

  • Keep praying that it will stay as is because you are so blessed. Let politics not destroy your faith and fight for that. Never give up.

    God bless.
