@MsCread - The old covenant Law of Moses' ("the Law in ordinances") has been nailed to the cross of Yeshua (Jesus) and is no longer a part of the plan of salvation (so to speak.) What Yahowshua(Jesus) has done is carry over from that covenant, and all previous covenants, certain things which are revealed in the doctrine of the new covenant (the New Testament.) There is no physical circumcision, but spiritual, of the heart. Even baptism by John's ministry has become spiritual in Christ.

All humans of all nations possess wisdom, goodness and beliefs in some measure. But its a stretch to say those who recieved the world of God directly from God [at least according to a writing Christians claim to accept], also claim they cannot see the invisible. Elvis, why don't you get yourself a King James Bible and actually read the first chapter of The Apostle Paul's Epistle To The Romans. The world has wisdom, goodness, beliefs, religions, philosophies, etc., ad infinitum. That is all in a relative sense, and has nothing to do with knowing God by revelation from Him personally, or from His Holy Writings (which contain what He said.) His standards are absolute, not relative. No man can be good enough through anything this world has to offer.

However, you don't see how this applies to everyone that looks upon what God has made and cannot see the God who made it. (Rom.1) The verse you cited above, "I shall make Jerusalem a burdensome stone unto the nations." is very true also. Good for you!!

We do not know what lies before or after this life, and some pretend to know, exploiting generic belief factors. The vindicated truth is: "I TAKE LIFE AND I GIVE LIFE". The mystery of the pre-life verifies the afterlife.

Also omitted: Those who have no laws say the law cannot save.

You have been deceived by Satan. The book of Hebrews compares the old covenant with the New Covenant. Paul's epistles also make this very clear, the old covenant has been put aside for the sake of the New Covenant. The old covenant, "for the Law made nothing perfect". (Heb.7:19) This is what the Bible says, "but the coming of a better covenant" can, through the blood of the True Christ, Jesus, "The Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world." The Law could not do this. Heb.8:26, 12:24.

It is helpful to consider the fact that the Old Testament scriptures were not even copied and used by the New Testament churches as their law. The new covenant church, having Christ as Saviour and Lord, copied and kept the words of the NEW COVENANT PROPHETS, including Jesus Christ. If we will be new covenant saints, we must stick with the new covenant scriptures. ALL OF THE OLD LAW, PERTINENT TODAY, IS FOUND IN THE CONTEXT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WRITINGS.
