@sparwood8 I can't speak for the states but hear in NY Rangers country we have Sam Rosen who I think does an amazing job. We use to have John Davidson as color (oh baby). He left to be president of hockey operations of the St. Louis Blues. Also, I think Mike Emrick is good as well but you might be right about the other franchises. Did you read about Bettman wining about how much money he lost during the hiatus, NHL might let their players, play in the 2014 games.

we all know hockey is canadas sport, i never said that, but ur argument of 35 MILLION VS 300 MILLION is very invalid. If you would have said it was canada's sport i would fully agree with you. (although russians invented it :P). but like it or not, america is catching up slowly. take away canadas championships back when it was basically them against everyone else learning (much like US in football now) it would be MUCH closer overall, but canada is still better.
