  • LoooL HD video

  • ATI

  • My Specs:

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

    4Gb Ram

    Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz

    Resolution 1400X900

Can I run Crysis Warhead Run at Max Settings with a GTS 250 1Gb?

  • @vic117200 Yeah you should. I was able to run Crysis Warhead with a GTS 250-512Mb

  • Video is really good, but playing is quite bad :-/

  • You sound gay. *Deep voice* "Lets take a look underwater"

  • @catman1233

I bet your not even over 15 lol. You will grow up one day.....I hope...

  • @AlexStenka Actually I am,dumb motherfucker.

  • Can I run Crysis on: GTS 250 1024 MB GDDR3

    2 Gigs RAM

    and a 2.6 GHz processor?

  • @Globalcashcookie yes of course but the 2Gb ram hmmm O.o buy one more

  • dont you just hate people recording from their PC/Xbox/PS3/TV with a camera?

  • i have the nvidia geforce gts 250 512mb do you think i should upgrade to the 1gb?

  • crap game

  • all ultra high gts 250 with amd athlon x2 5200+ and 2gb ram...40 fps all the time

  • @darktempalr242

bullshit lol bullshit and I call bullshit more like 15

  • hey i have the same card and over clocked it and i still cant run at very high i can only play it at every thing on high

  • Hey I'm really confused. I just got a gaming rig from my brother and i cant run this game too well.. can you tell me why?

    Specs

    4Gb Ram

    Intel core 2 extreme(Quad core)

    Pny Gts 250 1Gb

  • I have a laptop the msi gt640 with nvidia gts 250m, but It can't handle crysis in very high settings. is it the same gfx card in the laptop and what you have?

  • would u recommend the 512 mb or the 1gb version? i would only get a max resolution of 1280x1024, even if i get a new monitor with 1080p, i'd probly only use 720p on the game for better performance.

  • with a quad core you just have 30-40 fps? while you're recording?

  • Turn down you shadows to medium and you will get an fps boost without sacrificing the preciousness of crysis :P

  • hey is there any card better then a gtx 295 cause thats what I have and i been out of the game for a couple years

  • Dude um are you only useing 1 six pin connector for that card?

  • the aliens owned you apparently...

  • pretty good I might upgrade to the the gfx card soon. I managed to run 30-40 fps on 9800gt 1gb 1680x1050 res. Only place that takes a hold on the gfx card is the underwater tunnel.

  • my shotgun pwns all u bitches

  • my 1.6 ghz cpu pwns ...... Never mind.

  • u playing with 4xaa 1680x1050 and very high - it's bullshit. In this video u shuld show us the settings.

  • @Ac1d147 ok thenks

  • Can my computer play crysis on max settings with ;

    intel pentium d 950 3.40

    geforce gts 250 1GO

    4GO ram

  • @FastTarugo yes

  • @Cov3rt360 tuen up phisycs and sound, reduce aa to 0, u dont need aa at that res

  • @luian90 At the phone res, no, looking at the screen, yes. Crysis does have very good DOF so aliasing isn't a major problem. HRNGGGGGG need to make an HD one sometime.

  • My GTX 260 pwns ur 250 XD

  • @DimebagCFH4Life yea probably lol

  • @Cov3rt360 overclock your gts250 and it's just as good as a gtx260.

  • @Cov3rt360 can i play crysis on max settings on a 1360x768 resolution at an average of 35fps w/ or w/o AA?

  • @Cov3rt360 btw im also using gts250 1gb ddr3

  • @DimebagCFH4Life My GTX 285 pwns ur 260 XD WHAT! BITCH!!!

  • @DMG6 Haha the GTX 285 is just an overclocked 260.....i can have the same peformance as your card and save a few bucks at the same time XD

  • @DimebagCFH4Life and what if you overclock 285gtx ?

  • @alonalon777 XD

  • @DimebagCFH4Life gtx 260 has more stream processors what do you expect :P

  • @DimebagCFH4Life my gtx 460 powns ur gtx 260:)

  • @DimebagCFH4Life

    My gtx 280 pwns ur 260 :)

  • @DimebagCFH4Life my GTX 280 Pwns your 260 :D

  • @gatler05 my 9500gt Pwns your 280 :P:P:P:P lol jk ur 280 can rape my 9500gt :(

  • and my ATI 5850 pwns your GTX 260 XD

  • @stunter200 and my father pwns ur mother xD

  • @MegaFoch lol

  • @DimebagCFH4Life

lol he mean gts not gtx O_O

  • @DimebagCFH4Life LoL and you're happy about two totally different products from nVIDIA? They are different in every aspect... + the gtx 260 is more expensive...

  • @mitko1251 Lol when i bought my GTX260 many moons ago it was $99+tax

  • @DimebagCFH4Life and my GTX 480 pwns your GTX 260

  • @DimebagCFH4Life and my GTX 480 pwns your GTX 260 and the GTS 250 is a very good Video card i had it 1 year ago and i must say this video card rulz

  • wow..it was kinda lagging even on a high end system...thats what kinda sucks about crysis..(Sources:I read online FROM PPL WHO'vE PLAYED THIS GAME WITH THE SAME CARD)

  • ...you should probably get 30-40 fps if you're using the 512 mb

  • dude, use a recording program.

it looks like Far Cry 1 like this.

but, this would be great on a tri-core, right?

  • "Oh it appears I've, performed a glitch... That's interesting."

    You sound so proper.

  • @oloompop sounds like a fag

  • is your gts 250 the 512mb or the 1 gb version, i like to know this because my current gpu (9800GTX) is having colour trouble so i want to buy a new gpu but i only have a 430-500w(i dunno exactly) power suply

  • cool i have 250 GTS too i can play on very high to but if i choose commenden settings than it is on high, do you know why

  • which one is better 5770 or 250gts?

would either of them be able to run crysis on max settings with a phenom 925 quad core, with 4 gbs of ddr3?

    thanks:)

  • @daxeflame 5770 is probably better i was looking at it, GDDR5 and DirectX 11 the 250 GTS has GDDR3 and DirectX 10. The 5770 is a very good card but i went for nVidia because of their developer tools, like PhysX and things.

  • @maticoff the problem with physx is that it lowers performance on some games, and not many games use physx....well not many popular games that is. what nvidia card did u get? i went from a 9800 gt to a 5770 and the difference is amazing haha though i cant play crysis on everything very high with my resolution at 1920 x 1080 cuz my fps goes down to 20

  • @manmaster94 i found myself a bargain at OCUK got a 250 1gb for the same price as some of the 9800, very happy :) i am considering PhysX because some of the development software supports it, so i think making things would be faster, just before i ordered the card my PSU fried so i cant see if it is any good :( lol, my original card is one i bought ages ago and it is terrible have to the graphics right down and rendering things takes forever.

  • @maticoff well my friend got a 250 1gb and it works perfect on all his games, that is after he got a faster processor lol he had a pentium 2.2 ghz xD it was pretty bad but he got a pentium 2.9 ghz and it runs games perfectly now, one thing i do like about the 250 over the 5770 is the x16 anti aliasing, that is one thing i wish ati had, but i still prefer nvidia over ati xD

  • @manmaster94 If ATI had nVidia' features then it would be way better than nVidia i personally think.

  • lol, ever heard of fraps ?

  • sorry cant tell it good but nice gamplay

  • failed

  • yeah most people get low frame rates in crysis.. the engine sucks and completely ignores SLI or Crossfire setups

  • i hope crysis 2 will have lower specs than crysis 1...

if you can run it on consoles.....

  • I guess it's gonna have much higher specs.

  • @GhostFramez but don't the consoles have much lower specs than the PC? And by the engine demonstrations Crytek has been showing it seems like they've optimised the engine greatly, and not many new features that really cost performance... but I guess it's something we'll have to guess about until crytek shows us the crysis 2 specs....

  • @dfpcmaia consoles now have alot lower specs than good pc's.

  • @danielb1234567891234 thats why im thinking that crysis 2 will run better than crysis 1

  • i have HD5750 and i have ultra high graphics and 64 bit on windows 7 and fps is 25

  • What for Windows do you use ????

  • nice graphics

  • how much was the card

  • bout $130 on ebay :P

  • very nice

  • x 86 is 32 bit right? other wise i the hd 4850 or the gts 250?

  • no point showing your high graphics on a crappy phone :) lol

  • yea my bad :)

I just majorly upgraded my computer so I'll do an HD one in a bit

  • @aamer2806 There is point, when you record screen with fraps you loose part of performance so it's not showing real game speed, and when you record monitor with camera (or phone) it shows real performance, but, as you said, you can't see quiality of graphics.

  • great vid!!!

  • Id say 1 GTS 250 is good to play like 80% of all games on the highest settings but for crysis i suggest two like i got or a GTX 275 instead. And the two i got get about 55fps on average on crysis all settings high

  • thanks!

  • I am deciding on getting a video card, would the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 be better or would the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS be better?

  • buy an gainward gts 250 1 gb because the 9800gtx+ is the same as 8800 gts just with a different name and more ram and the gts 250 is the same as the 9800gtx+ but its newer, has more ram and it is 20 dollar/euro cheaper

  • Ive chosen to purchase a new computer with a 950watt power supply, an AMD Phenom™II X4 955 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU, an MSI NF750-G55 AM3 DDR3 mother board, and 4gb of ddr3 RAM. I havean ACER with 1 dvi and 1vga port with max 1600x900 res. I would like to play newer games at max settings with a high FPS. Games like Crysis, Empire total war, Company of Heroes, and MW2. What video card should I buy? I have enough cash for the 260gtx.

  • picked a transitional time to build your PC which sucks cause with usb 3.0 and sata 3 coming out mobos will go down alot and when the new nvidia 100 series launches all cards will go down in price significantly also with SSD out HDDs are dirt cheap for like 2 Ts of space if i was you i would have waited till late march to build and take advantage of all the price drops

  • nice vid. do you think my pc will run this game smoothly?

    intel c2d e8500 3,16ghz

    gainward geforce 250 gts 1gb

    4gb kingston hyperx 1066mhz

    seagate 7200rpm

    asus maximus II formula

  • Ya u should be ok. U can play at decent settings.

  • Whats your monitors resolution?

  • 1680x1050, but its not important for me to play on the highest res:D as long as it doenst get blurry

  • Looks like dx9 to me...

  • DX9 and DX10 look the same visually in just about any game that uses both APi's. The main difference is that DX10 renders faster than DX9, it doesn't necessarilly look better.

  • @Cov3rt360 Imho I noticed Dx10 to be a little less expensive.

  • Im so getting this for new year !

  • are there any lags in Crysis???

    with this card??

  • Definately.

  • It's the best performance for the price of any nvidia card (so far).

  • YEAH MAN! Im getting this baby this week for 110€ WHOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • Couple this with Windows 7 and you've got yourself a badass system.

  • @Airbender222

    nope compatible os: XP/VISTA/2000

    :S

  • @Ultragamernumba1

I'm actually using this on Windows 7 :S

    It works great btw.

  • @Airbender222

weird ive seen it on the store and ive seen this :

    compatible os: XP/VISTA/2000

well glad to hear that it works for you ;)

  • The game was made before w7 came out. W7 has almost full compatability with any vista software

  • Anyone give a process for him hahah

  • Hi! i wonder if this computer setup would handle games like crysis on very high: -HP PAVILION M9860 -AMD Phenom II X4 810 2,6 GHz -6 GB RAM DDR3 1066MHz -1000 GB(1TB) -ATi Radeon HD 4650 1024MB -Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit? or maybe this one: -Packard Bell iXtreme -6GB RAM -AMD Athlon X2 -750 GB -nVidia G120? Thx ;
  • @oliwers100

Don't buy your system, make it save 100$

  • Will i be able to play on high settings with this: DDR2 2GB

    500GB HD

    GeForce GTS 250 1GB

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2,8GHz

    Windows 7 ?:)

  • eh on my crysis demo the very high settings option is greyed out? can it take off?

  • You must be running windows xp. You can get the very high settings by editting your crysis config file (search google if you cant find it). If you play the game on Vista or Windows 7 then the box will not be greyed out

  • i got a computer for 641bucks and it can run crysis on high with 30 to 50 fps. it has the nvidia gts 250 1gb edition

  • nice, I actually just upgraded my cpu to a QX9650 and games run so much better, the gts 250 holds up very well

  • dude GTS 250 is competitive card to HD4850 and not with HD 4870... dont compare 4870 with GTS 250.. as 4870 is better in peformance than GTS 250 ...

see the bench mark with HD 4850 in that GTS 250 stays ahead of 4850

    4870>>GTS250>>4850

  • it will cost me more for a GTS 250 than a 4870.

I will either be getting 4870 or 4890.

In NV architecture improved games like Crysis, will the 4870 be better than a GTS 250?

Oh and either way, what GPU do you recommend for my configuration?

This is when I get my new mobo for X-MAS aswell.----

    Core 2 Quad Q6700 @ Stock 2.66GHz 8MB L2 Cache

    2X2GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800 PC2-6400 RAM

    ASUS P5Q Premium.

(note, I may upgrade CPU and RAM in future...).

    What GPU do you recommend.

  • Oh, and I want to be able to play Crysis/C. Warhead on Very High, maybe some AF and AA, at Very High/Enthusiast with minimum 30FPS.

    AVG, about 35-40 I guess.

max, who cares, as long as it's good :P

    I play at 1280x1024.

    Thanks.

  • are you asking what card would be good? i have the 250 and i know the minimum won't be 30. I'd look into a maybe 260. definitely a 275 will perform v all very high/enthusiast with min 30. and AF + AA. especially if you're only doing 1280X1024.

  • You cant go SLI with ati cards you bitch...

  • It's called crossfire on ATI.

  • O'Rly? -.-

  • ya'rly.

  • Comment removed

  • better u switch to VISTA ULTIMATE 64 bit SP2 ....Win 7 is not officially recommended my many games as there r lots of issues with DX10 games in win 7 OS......

  • which OS r u using???

ULTRA High ( ENTHUSIAST) is enabled only in DX10 mode ( VISTA or 7) not in XP

  • @kimivenkat84 Using Windows 7 x86 mate :D

  • wait im planning on gettin evga gts 250 but i have windows xp so ur saying xp doesnt support directX 10?

  • @johnduma98 : yes dude.... Xp doesn support DX10 . it suppots only upto DX 9c..... DX10 is supported only in vista and DX 11 is supported only in win 7. if u get GTS 250 then better install vista Sp1 or SP2 for good gaming experience with all effects...

  • thanks for the info, damn it sucks cause i think vista kinda blows.damn i got some thinking to do cause i get xp 32bit for free and i dont want to buy vista.any thanks again

  • @johnduma98: ya but performance wise Xp is good. in nfs shift game i got 5 - 6 fps more in Xpsp3 than in Vista Sp2 .... but u wil not experience the effect like ambient occlusion, detailed rendering , etc in xp sp3....

  • Actually, Windows Vista will be getting an API update to support DirectX 11 very soon through Windows Update. I still recommend win7 :)

  • oh..... so whether we will get full DX11 support in vista thro that update????

  • What do you he mean by Physics on medium?

  • @dfthaman There is a setting on physics quality.

  • Can I play Crysis on Ultra-high with this specs;

Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTS250 1GB Graphics Card

    450W PSU

    500GB HDD

    Windows 7 OS

    4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM

    Intel Core i5 2.66Ghz

    Unknown Motherboard

  • Probably, I have that card and it ran at about 25-30 frames mostly, so you might notice a bit of chop.

  • There is no Ultra High -.-

  • yes u can...... but dont set ur resolution more than 1440x900.. and turn Vsync :off

CRYSIS works quite better in 64 bit OS than 32 bit OS, 3 to 4 fps more

i have XFX Nvidia 250 GTS 1GB and i played the game with ultra high settings 1280 X 720 AA 8x in vista SP1 64bit with avg 35 -50 fps

  • how do you open up 'very high' settings? my specs were

    Intel core 2 quad Q8400

    Gigabyte P43 UD3L

    2GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz

    ASUS GTS250 1GB DK

    750W PSU

    running at resolution at 1440x900

  • need direct x 10

  • No, you just need Windows Vista or Windows 7.

You can use the additional 'direct x 10' effects on any OS or card by editing your Crysis configuration file. There are many tutorials on doing this so just search and I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you do have a DirectX 10 card and Windows Vista/ 7 then you will benefit with a boost in FPS. But the effects in themselves do not rely on directX 10, it's just a marketing scheme to get you to upgrade to vista or higher.

  • i was responding to the guy that said very high wasnt on his settings :D

  • i heard dx10 runs on XP is it stable? i heard its unofficial

  • XP has no DX10 support. The 'directX10' effects in Crysis do not rely on DX10 however. So editing your configuration files in your crysis folder you can achieve very high settings under DirectX 9.

However having a DX10 card and using vista or win7, you will get a performance boost using the same settings as it uses different rendering techniques. Hope this makes sense!

  • If I have Intel E7500 64-bit, 4GB DDR2, and Geforce GTS250, will I be able to play crysis on high? and still have good fps?

  • yes :)

  • Can I play on very high also?

  • gts 250 1gb oc ,,version is the best card in the raange..crysis i found utter boring,,over hyped which killed it for me !!!was expecting a mind blowing game,,but got a rather normal fps,,

Which is same as farcry 1 really if u look deep enough !also is a gts 250 1gb oc better than a 8800 gtx

  • HD5xxx series is already released. 5850 is 329 on newegg.

  • My psu is 350 watts and my HD4670 said a minimum of 450w and it works great. Will this gts 250 be fine without a psu upgrade? I'm gonna get a new cpu (30w less than my current cpu) the same time i order a gts 250, so I expect it to be fine. Give me answers.

  • No way dude, a 350watt PSU and a GTS250 would instantly kill your rig bro. if your buying new stuff also buy at least a 550 watt PsU.

  • It would kill it? or just not start up?

  • It would kill it bro, the psu would be almost instantly overloaded and blow out. most likely taking component's with it.

Also, 350-watts is a max wattage, not steady wattage.

If you look on newegg they have decent 550watt PsU's for around 70$ CAD.

  • Newegg is where i get everything. i found a 430watt for $60. I'll look into a 550watt. Thanks.

  • I have a 450 watt Corsair PSU, MAKE SURE you get a good quality PSU, corsair is one of the best OEMs. You do not need a lot of power with more recent cards because they use smaller chips. Not the case for some of the Quadro and 4 way sli setups of course!

  • Sli Setups, especially using Nvidia 200's you would want at least a 600-watt, 750+ for 3/way or 285/295's. A 450 wouldn't run it bad as long as it has a strong rail.

  • yea, i wouldnt try that, im running a 750watt for my gts 250 with 8gb ram. this is overkill a 500 would prolly do, but overkill is worth it when your spending that much cash

  • gts 250 is better then the ati 4850, its suppose to be as good as the ati 4870 but i guess not

  • GTS 250 (1gb ddr3) or ATI HD4870 (1gb ddr5) ?

    thanks =)

  • What ATI card would be comparable to this performance? And please no biased answers. I'm just curious... The 4770? Or maybe the 4850?

  • My game randomly crashes on me back to the desktop without warning.

    I have the GTS 250 512Mb.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.9GHZ

    4Gb DDR2 RAM

I play on settings on High, 1920x1080 No AA

(to be honest, lowering the resolution doesn't really get me any more FPS) but having AA on will. I can't really tell the difference anyway.

    Any ideas?

  • hey man buy a intel dual core e5200 or a e6300 for a best performance.
