I've been in the mortgage business for nearly 18 years and I remember who started all this, I remember the memos we would get asking us (the mortgage profesionals) to help lobby against imposing new strick laws that would end all the B&C loans we were all making so much money on. It WAS the Republican party that was trying to invoke these new measures to stop these easy to get loans, my god, people were able to get loans without even having a job!
