  • Damn those people know how to rave!

  • Вот это мне нравится.

  • what are those red beams?

  • @fierytwins Those would be red lights (or flashlights with red filters on them). By using the red lights in the dark to see around you (when needed), you don't eyes don't really have to re-adjust to the darkness when you turn it off. It also means that the light won't interfer with everyone elses viewing enjoyment either.

  • That was wicked, it came out really well! I'm totally going to try that! I'm in the southern hemisphere--so galactic centre would look awesome. How long were your exposures? How long did you wait before taking another? Info on camera metering? Thanks for the nice video.

  • love it

  • great work. Cypress hills? hehe...

Must be REALLY dark there at night.. where I live, the night is so polluted with light.

  • @01001110101100001011 Yup, the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. It's on the borders Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada. Beautiful place at night and durring the day.

As for being really dark there? Well, there is a large area of the Cypress Hills that is considered a "dark sky preserve". This area in Saskatchewan is within that area.
