yes it is. ive done it before. but you need to configure controllers. (i dont have a gamecube so yea you can do it)

i think u would config ur c button on ur nunchuck as attack..then u can do dash attack with a and then do an up-c really fast :)..

You can set the down-pad (the thing right above the A button, its the down button on the pad) to down smash, and then you can run, tilt up, hit the down-pad and a at the same time and you'll do it.

This also works for sheik, who is the hardest to do DACUS with.

For boost-smashing, it's great for ground approaching and for finishers.

For DACUS, it's only useful for Falco. I guess it's useful for Snake too. With Falco, it allows a great finisher (like after a Dthrow). With Snake, I'm not sure. You can use it if you want to make your Dash Attack less punishable if it connects with a shield. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Boosted Pivot Grab - With Falco, he can turn around after a Dthrow to continue CG'ing the opponent. The other two, up to you.
