great documentary bro.. this is Hmong history right here to meeeh! love to watch the history of early Hmong in the U.S. life must be hard in a time tron apart wartime
Haha, that was my family in that video.... and I think I was the baby, lol! Never thought I would find myself on youtube one day?! How cool is that? Where is the full documentary? How can I get it?
I know most of the people in this clip, the tournament was held at the shipyard field. i was so young back then but gosh all of the memories are still so vivid seeing this clip.
I was born and raised out in RI. I was digging through some of my parents stuff and found this video. So I really don't know where you could get a copy but I'm gonna upload the rest soon!
my brother (i1135t) and I grew up in RI too I'm sure that we know each other. He's still there but I moved away to Cali. Thank you for the upload it's much appreciated!
haha my other older sister is holding me sitting on the couch so funny! the baby isn't the first american citizen, that was my younger brother who was born in Philadelphia. The baby is the 2nd american citizen born
OMG that is at our very first apartment on Public St and that's my mom, she's holding my baby sister. My other sister is standing on the couch and other sister is in the red coat walking around. This is hilarious!
Very good Video of RI. My Family also came to RI in 1983 :) when I was only 7-8yrs old :( The 80's were the best of all times for hmong history that have peace and no Gangs fighting.
