  • @GYGB: Sorry, I don't know where the new video is, BUT I have Haye winning against Valuev. I know I will catch slack, but Chewbacca aka Valuev does not move, he gets hit, and I am sorry GYGB, a good defense does not mean you have a good chin. Haye is chinny & has stamina prblms, he has 95% ko which is impressive. -ROD

  • @GYGB: (con't) At this stage, he is more athletic than Holyfield and hit harder than Ruiz, who dropped Vavlev. also, Besides the 11rd of the Barrett fight, I never seen Valuev be BIG FOOT aggressive. Haye could be Anti-Science, but how much science do you need to beat a dude like Valuev? The only hope is clinching for Valvuev. Love or hate him, The HW division needs a Haye win. -ROD

  • @ROD..I know i keep repeating myself but Haye can box..problem for him (not for the fans) is he is a gunslinger, he loves to fight and he loves knocking the other guy spark out! this mentality can lead him to shift from the gameplan, I think the reason for this though is throughout his career so far he has felt he was able to get away with it against his previous opposition but i do think he learned a valuable lesson from his sole defeat and if Valuev doesnt go early i believe he can outbox him.

  • You think he can actually go 12 rounds though? Specially against a 315 pound giant? I know you guys are going to tell me Valuev doesnt use his size and all but thats simply not the full story

Punching something a 100 pounds heavier than you that doesnt give sends all that force back to your own muscles and joints and the more you hit it the more tiring it is on you and not only is he bigger but Haye is punching up against gravity all night long...those 2 combined plus his stamina=1 long night

  • and no matter how bad Valuev he is...which is REAL bad, once he gets a completely gassed Haye in front of him with at least 5 rounds left of the fight he'll get some work done and imo will knock him out....did i mention Haye's glass jaw lol

But I do agree, a successful Haye is good for boxing...would have been better if he didnt puss out of the Klitschko fights tho

  • He didnt pull out he had a bad back.lol

I think pulled out cause he knew he wasnt going to get payed for the fight, cause Setanta, the channel showing the fight went bankrupt. Thats the reason i think he pulled out.

  • what bad back, wasnt that the first excuse...im talking mainly vs Vitali were it turned out he already had a contract made vs Valuev while Vitali was still under the impression that they're fighting...i dunno signing another fight behind your opponents back is not cool in my books

  • new video up

  • new video up

  • Pop - damn well said. Like any degenerate in GYGB, we could write a thesis on the anti science flaws, tells & tendencies that Davey boy has. But the current state of the HW division along with a muddy crystal ball of up-n-comers has me not at all interested in studying real science for anyone north of 200. I just want a new face to shake things up and my stock is in David. Now if the HW's ever go back to 15 rd title fights, I'll re-energize my focus and give it my undivided attention.

  • Okay so it looks like we have 3 degenerates in the Berto Barn: (1) Tranadamous from the Illadel; (2) 585 Upstate NY; and (3) Yull the Bourbon Street kid.

Please state your name and what set you from if you want to enter the welter green belt stable for Jan. 30th. Any applications submitted after Jan. 15th will be considered too late and you'll be forced to ride the old man Shane ship lol. Don't get caught with your nose exposed on this one...easy pickens for AB but we'll elaborate l8r.

  • easy pickens for AB!!!! nooooo you didnt just say that Yull lol....im telling you ur gonna wish u were riding the old man Shane ship come jan 31 (no homo?)

  • Lol - I said easy "pickens" cuz I thought it was a nice little play on "nose" lmao! Plus I wanted to stir the pot a little cuz I plan on riding the Berto iceberg (no homo) crashing in on old man Shane's titanic. 13 months of inactivity won't be a good look for the Sugar man as the disappointment of not getting the $May fight will further weigh on the motivation of Shane. But let me digress so I don't shoot my wad of analysis and intangibles too early. There was a glimpse though.

  • I got Berto (explain later) Trane

  • @123icecoldbeer

Style make fights you know that..... So what if Cosme Rivera floored Berto with the luckiest punch ever..... Berto was never rocked by Estrada he got caught a couple of times, Collazo gave Mosley problems before he broke his hand. Bottomline is Berto has the tools to beat Shane Mosley in my opinion.

  • 585, Berto can win but he's not the favorite lets just say that...he needs to fight a very very good fight to beat Mosley but he's got somethings to his advantage

If you circle Mosley or give him any angles you can just watch him slow down right in front of your eyes...he starts to win his shots and using his head and when Mosley starts "thinking" its bad news for him lol...his offense needs to flow and i think Berto can capatalize on that by slight movement and not coming at him

  • @m0neymayweather

I don't think Berto will come str8 at him i guess we can agree on that. I think he will use his jab and probably try to counter Molsey a bit early on and try to catch Mosley with that vicious uppercut he has. But your right though, Berto has to fight a very good fight to beat Mosley, maybe even his A game.

  • they key is, and this is were his volnurability to jabs comes into play...when you've got him thinking and winding up on his shots and trying to pick his spots thats where you need to watch his body language and everytime he pulls either hand back and thinks about throwing u pop him with a jab or a 1-2 and force him to set his feet again....im telling you if theres one fighter i've studied for a long time its Shane and he's a sucker for that...Berto has the athletism and speed to pull it off too

  • i dont know about the timing tho or the mental focus going down the stretch though...plus he needs to get on a diet and work his stamina and speed cuz its not so much his power that will come into play here as it is about game plan and stamina

And he better be rock solid in the gut cuz Shane is a very underrated body puncher and might wear him down later in the fight

  • Your right I didnt even bring up the experience and Naseem in the corner

His experience will help him throughout training and the fight and if things get tricky or rough than he's def got the more able corner as well...lets be real here the only thing Berto has on his side is a slight speed advantage and Mosley's age...Mosley better get real old real quick if Berto is to win

  • combined

  • @m0neymayweather

And can Andre Berto show me a consistent jab and workrate to the body..... If he does these things Berto will win. I'mma have to tweet him and tell him this stuff hopefully he listens.....

  • with all that said tho, point blank Shane makes mistakes but has the savy and durability to make up for it....Berto also makes mistakes but Shane has a perfected left hook and a perfected right hand to make him pay with either or and I cant see Berto finishing this fight on his feet...Shane is just way too dangerous for him

  • @m0neymayweather

Yeah definitely Mosley has the smarts and the ring savy to make up for it..... Shane definitely will be the strongest fighter Berto has ever been in the ring with. Berto is gonna have to be on BEAST mode where Mosley is already at.

But Mosley has been off the ring for i think almost a year now since the Margacheato destruction and that i think will be a factor against a young lion in Berto.

  • @123...Thats true what you say about Mosley and Berto' jabs, what i will say about Shanes is it is quite effective at "blinding" his opponent to the right hand...A quick point about Berto and his jab...he has been warned a couple of times for like you have said "use of the backhand" and if mosleys people are smart enough to mention this to the appointed ref pre fight it may be a factor in terms of point deductions.

  • @walklikeachampion

Thats a good point about the Berto jab but hopefully he doesn't use that backhand shit and uses it correctly and throws with conviction and i would like to see Berto go to the body alot more in this fight.....

  • you gotta point about Shane not having a good jab which we all know but he does flick it out there effectively just to blind the guy from seeing that over hand right...good point

@585, no Shane's problem isnt handspeed its a jab and timing...Cotto Vernon and Winky were average speed guys with timing and a good jab

Oscar in his prime was very fast and that wasnt an issue

  • @m0neymayweather

Good points Money, Shane does have problems with guys that have an excellent jab like Cotto, Vernon (R.I.P) and of course Winky. Thats why he didn't want any parts of Clottey who has the same tools as those fighters you've mentioned. Now i believe Berto's speed will be a factor in the fight the only question with Berto i have is can Berto not look all exhausted and sloppy against a veteran in Mosley if in fact it goes to the late rounds.

  • @123icecoldbeer

Listen i understand your point, but Mosley has trouble with fighters with HANDSPEED and this is probably the fight where Shane Mosley will show his age. I still can't see how you have Mosley winning in a 10 round decision.....

So do you think the fight will be stopped on cuts?!...... Or do you think Mosley will clock Berto in the 10th round and knock him out......? I have Berto beating Sugar Shane....

  • Wait what the hell? Shane vs Berto is actually on now....i thought they were waiting for the contracts to be signed and what not? Wow if its actually on then im very happy...not just cuz its gonna be a good fight between two fast handed "fighters" and certainly not boxers but also cuz it measn Floyd ISNT fighting Berto lol

I got Shane by KO in the 8th or 9th, both guys are fast, 1 guy has better stamina chin and power while they both make mistakes only Shane will make Berto pay...period

  • But i would never count Berto out only for the fact that a fight of this magnitude can bring the lion out of a young fighter that you never saw before as it has in many other occasions

Berto WILL be alot better than we've seen him in this fight and does have a chance to win...never discount desire and the fire thats lit under this kids ass now in training and for the fight

Its gonna be a good one

ps. Why is Manny's next date March? kinda crazy to assume he'll be fighiting 4 months later

  • Did i mention Shane hasnt fought in a year and has had distractions and a complete 180 degree spin in his personality? I dunno whats going on with Shane but he might easily be over looking Berto in hopes of Floyd or Manny and as much i diss Berto he's a live dog...hopefully Shane doesnt fuck this up late in his career

  • C/s Dirk! Chad box on roller skates in this one. Throwing the 1 2 3 4 and 5 6 7 on the move while Glen stalks to the bell ring. Chad is younger more improved and Glen is older but his fightgame never changes. Trane

  • Havent heard much discussion bout Dawson vs Johnson. Im assuming everyone is thinking like me that Chad pulls a Floyd in the 2nd Castillo fight i.e uses his legs more and cruises to an easy decision?

Chad fought the wrong fight the first time, standing in the pocket with Johnson trying to trade punches. I have heard Glen hasnt been lookin all that great recently so maybe leaving this rematch a year was a smart move. Chad UD 9-3.

  • @Dirk...I been thinking the same thing, Glenn aint getting any younger and he doesnt really have the style that facilitates having a long career...its amazing he has been around so long and still competing with the best but there has to come a time when the well runs dry...

  • I thought Dirrell won the Froch fight and Abraham was impressive....

  • Funny how Barkley said the same thing I said when they first signed Shaq that he clogs Lebron lanes up

  • Lol What Nard say

  • @123, strategy hasn't been Shane's strong point and Berto wont be mistaken for Pernell or Azuma when it comes to tactics either. But I see Naseem being in shane's corner giving him the advantage when it comes to gameplanning.

  • @GYGB: Shane vs Berto......easy one.....Shane. IMO this is a bad look for Berto. Is he faster than shane? Can he pop more? Those he have more ring savvy than the vet? Is he more durable?

I doubt it. Regardless glad to see this fight going down between two fighters I got no beef with. Should be entertaining but I got Shane drowning Berto almost as bad as he did Plasterface once they get to them deep waters. Ain't nothing more dangerous than a vet like Shane out for his last Paper chase.

    HUNGER

  • @GYGB: I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the World Champions of baseball....them damn Yankees. Never root for yall but respect from the West for not only the best team in the game but the most Gangsta organization in all of American sports(including my beloved Lakers). Folks can get mad that they got the most payroll but like they say....you pay the cost to be the boss.

Strategy wise it was won on pitching but at the end of the day its's that damn NY mystique.

  • @123 - I feel like an bumbling idiot LOL Ur spot on mate! I would normally delete my brain dead comment but I'm gonna leave it up for the world to see that when you hit ur 30's and an old fart like me, the first thing to go is the flux capacitor upstairs lol.

Seeing that I'm on a run of stupidity right now, why stop there so let me inject Wladimir. Take away the ko losses, he's been on a MegaTron string of W's for the last approx. 5 yrs and that Steward style seems untouchable. What ya think?

  • Munzon had 14 all time right?

  • Lol Jull u know Joe's my dude. Yeah this going b fun.

  • 123 - Nah man, Nard had something like 20 title defenses at MW before getting robbed in the first JT joint. Or maybe I misinterpreted what you meant by 11 title defenses?

  • Bastards - you guys beat me to the "slap" saying Joe C while I was typing lol!

Good call though - he has to be included point blank.

  • Yeah were doing one on the radio show. We only got one month left in this decade (crazy). It should be a good debate. I like ur list so far my dude. Trane

  • Calzaghe too

  • Calzaghe too

  • 123: Lots of Shane's fans will tell you his shining moment was against Plasterito, but for my money it doesn't get any better than Shane v. DLH I. The way Shane kept that fight in the center and got off 1st from 1 thru 12 was brilliant science. But I think on Jan. 30th he gets old in the ring and this kid with the green belt gets another strap. Very interested to see if Berto cleans up that illegal jab vs. Urango cuz you know Naseem will look to get an early pt deduction to put Berto in a hole.

  • Fighters of the decade show in 2 weeks. Any suggestions? Remember it runs from 2000-to present. 90's don't count. Top 5 (in no order) Floyd Cotto Shane Nard Manny

  • I know there's an asterisk next to his name for fighting exclusively in the UK till recently, but I just can't see how we can't place Joe C Wales on the list; at the very least an honorable mention nod. That smw reign is unprecedented as dude never lost since 93 damn! Looking back at a 90's fight w/ an aging Chris Eu but still Chris Eubank all the same, you have to see the huge improvements Joe made since 2000 mastering that unique, shoe shine style for a full on 36 mins w/ no rest. Impressive.

  • That's a good topic but I think Barrera is one of the best fighters of this decade. Wins over Morrales, Hamed, Kelly, Old ass Tapia, Peden. His fights were amazing on its own, especially his fights with Morrales, Marquez, Juarez, Manny.

BTW what happened to top 10 PR fighters?

  • Erdna: Wuz up bro? I sent you an email on Oct. 14 with our opinions. Pls check your inbox or are referring to a show?

  • @GYGBUK, yall gotta relax. Haye is going to air this gimmick of a fighter out. Who exactly has the giant looked stellar against? This is the type of fight is a Haye faithful dream. A big scary looking dude being trashed by a smaller/faster dude. I see no jab. I see no faints. I see no feet. I see a dude who's a big guy and ripe to be aired out. We got a show coming on this btw. Trane

  • i think haye valuev is abit of a pick em,but im backing haye to find a way to win!im also picking chad to win a close U/D

  • Wuz good 951? I'm shocked that my boyz born of UK birth, British by law and Highlander by the grace of God are shaking in ur knickers about this fight w/ Haye vs. Hairy & The Hendersons lol! This will be the easiest fight of Davey's career. Okay 2nd easiest from the Enzo farce. Like Walk said, Haye fires a few chin-checks in the 1st 2 frames then cruises to an easy-as-Sunday-morning pts win. DH gets good mileage in from a lil road rust, keeps gas in the ole tank and gets the pinks to the ride.

  • Its not so much that im worried about anything Valuev brings to the table except his size. Im more worried about Hayes shortcomings when it comes to actualy staying disciplined for 12 rounds which hes never been able to (or had to) do.

  • hey up yull my mate,i fear 4 the haymaker.hope he can be smart and follow the blueprint chargev and holifield set.but hey lets be real.that aint hayes style.lol he's gonna be headhunting like a bull in a china shop!wich maybe the best way 4 him.coz i dont see the german judges doing haye any favours!if it goes to the cards haye, if he's up on points, has a good chance of been robbed like old man holifield

  • Diggs, Pop, 951: All valid pts u bring up. But imo this is not the Dave who threw the entire fuel pump from the bell vs Carl T. Even tho Mac only lasted 1.5 rds, Haye was letting a big awkward cw come to him b4 measuring and firing. 1st 4 rds vs. Barrett was similar at hw I think. He let us in on his would-be gameplan vs Wlad w/ goading him via the t-shirt thing to press forward so Haye could slide the jab in the phone booth. I think this a new "ring smarts" guy we'll see esp w/ a belt to seize.

  • 951 - I've been wrong about the Germans b4 namely when they jacked Big George back in the day. But I think the Swiss already beat the German pirates to that ship to loot when they rendered that decision for Grizzly Adams over EH. Ironically it was a German guy who 1st interviewed Holyfield outside the ropes and while EH was politically correct just saying he hit the Giant more times than getting hit, it was the interviewer who basically called it a farce citing his own 118-110 card favoring EH.

  • J taylor was losing on the score-cards too, and I agree with the score-cards since I had AA ahead before JT getting knocked out. Jt is no good anymore.

  • I'm From New York!

  • just saw manny's media workout and the boy looks sharp! it's the first vid on my favorites. cotto looks strong too but my official prediction is gonna be manny by late stoppage / tko. maaad hype for this fight! 10 days and counting...may the best man win!

  • @Fonic. I have to say mate, Pac looks stupidly fast and accurate. The vid I saw looked like a blur his hand speed was that quick!

Im expecting an early cut on Cotto and then a mid round stoppage! Im most definately not sure of my pick though.

  • sorry trane,,,, Had to do it to you. Yankee Magic Baay Bee!! I was at an Aries Spears Show I dvr'd the game..But I saw the score during the show... U had to kno phils couldn't eff w/ us...in ur heart that is...u had 2 kno in ur heart.... Next up is Mannywood....i think deep down u know miguel is gonna molk manny out...I even think u want him to really...but u think MAnny is smart money...he's not.

  • I gotta wake up early im out

let me know when you find the answer to that question ill be glad to tkae back what i said

  • World Champs... that's right!

  • @erdna2891 hell ya thank God cuz i kno i ant no jets super bowl anytime soon lmao

  • Absolutely Sergio Martinez is extremely awkward and a goddamn good lil South American fighter that has mastered the Locche style. But what happened when the UNTOUCHABLE Nicoline (Spelling) Locche stepped up in weight and tried to get slick with the best that US Soil had to deliver back in the day? Yes, you will see a roped off angler that is forced to plant down and square up to keep the 6,7,8's from crashing that bicycle. EASY 5 thru 12 for PDubbs (dubb 20" rims no pun intended).

  • @Jl Yo why do they put parades on weekdays? NY traffic is a fucking mess on a regular day lol I hope it's on a Saturday

  • @ringking187 cuz of the demand. and it take over 2-3 days to set everything up but your right a saturday most of the ppl are not working. its a weekend. its would be great. but these mothefuckas wud put on a weekday i know them

  • all jokes aside paul didnt want to comedown to 154? im surpised dead ass

  • Nah he did wanna come down to 154.......to fight a welterweight (Clottey) lol.

  • You obviously know nothing about what happened in negotiations, and im dont either

maybe Paul did wana fight for the belt but that failed so he figured fight at 160 if theres no title on the line....dont go around acting like it was all Paul's decision

like i told you before...you dont hold one person responsible for everything just cuz it makes you feel good understand? stick to facts you'll be alright

  • Dudes fighting Kelly Pavlik at MW for the lineal title but now according to Dirk he's unwilling to fight Sergio at 154 for his belts for absolutely no reason...he would just prefer to still risk taking the fight just not willing to accept more rewards if he wins (why even consider any other scenario? If its Paul or Floyd theres only one possible choice)...lol this shit is getting fucking old

  • but maybe its just them(Vitali and Wlad)...lol

  • "I thought the longer you were in the game, the TOUGHER the fights get"

    Shout out to the Klistckos...lol

  • I'll stick my neck out and take Sergio. I'd be more confident if it was at 154......but Williams wanted the advantage. Sergio aint gonna stand there and let Paul flurry on him like his previous opp.

  • "But Williams wanted to advantage"

Shout out to Pwill "wanting the advantage" as opposed to every other fighter in game. lol

  • I just wanted to see it for the strap at 154.......Paul didnt. I guess he's gonna dominate each of the 4 divisions from the division above lol

  • Do you know that Paul didnt want to fight for the belt?

Did ne of us hear wether or not Martinez was willing to put the belt on the line in short notice for that money?

Hell Paul aint even ranked in the top 10 for the WBC rankings to challenge for Sergio's title....what makes you think they would have accepted?

  • Damn make that the WBC hasnt ranked him even in the top 15 lol...very presumptuous of you to assume Paul didnt want to fight at 154 for the title considering you have absolutely nothing to base that on

  • "Super welterweight world champion Sergio Martinez of Argentina/U.S requested approval for a non-title fight at 160 pounds against Paul Williams of the U.S. Williams had been preparing to challenge middleweight world champion, Pavlik, on Dec 5th, but Pavlik withdrew from the fight due to injury and Williams did not want to change his preparation to fight at the lower weight limit. Martinez's request was approved. His mandatory defence will be determined at a later date."

    - Shouts to facts.

  • You realize that has nothing to do with why the fight isnt at 154 for the title?

I read that article and all it says is that Sergio requested to delay his title defense to fight Paul at 160...does that mean Paul could have fought him at 154 for the title? NOPE

Then it assumes Paul didnt want to change his preparations but for what reason? he was willing to go to 154 for Clottey cuz he'd be jumping up 1 weight divsion, who says he wouldnt fight Sergio at 154 if the title was on the line?

  • Ofcourse if theres no title Paul would just rather fight him at 160

Find me a quote that actually says Paul voluntarily chose to not fight for the belt at 154

or find me a quote that says Sergio was willing to defend his title agaisnt Paul or the WBC was willing to let Paul fight for the title at 154 but Paul refused....those are facts

for someone boldly claiming it was Paul who turned down the title defense your certainly lacking alot of proof

  • Paul didnt want to fight at 154.......thats the fact of it. So what else is there to say?

  • He was willing to do it for Clottey wasnt he?

Was he not willing to go to 154 for a title or was he not willing to go to 154 when there was no title to fight for? Thats the question...an important one for that matter

You ignore things like that as if they have no importance...seriously if you think that doesnt matter than dont even talk cuz this shit aint going anywhere when one person is so blind to everything

  • "He was willing to do it for Clottey wasnt he?"

    - Of course he was, Clottey's a welter lol.

  • @Jl whens the parade? (Sorry Trane) lol Those Damn Yankees! Best franchise in sports history!

  • @ringking187 i never forget ofcouse yanks in 96' won on saturday night the parade was on tuesday. i hope its on a saturday

  • @123.....Macklin already took Elcock apart, should be comfortable for Barker......who you got if they hook up?

  • Just read today that it was Williams who didnt want to move down to 154 (but did for Clottey lol).....so Martinez had to request the non-title fight at 160 from the WBC.

  • Guzman is the shit! He's incredibly talented, one of my favourite fighters. I hope he hasnt lost a step with all the shit thats been going down. Funeka wil be awkward for him with his length.

  • @jl87, i agree...bbuuuuuuuuuuuut........intrest in "the best fighting the best" always seem to vasry depending on which fighter is being rooted for.

shout out to Mayweather vs Cotto, Joe Cal vs Chad instead of Roy,David vs some one other than Valuev and Manny vs anyone ranked higher than David Diaz, Kelly fighting AA instead of Rubio and Miranda, Shane vs Pwill, Clottey vs Pwill, Mayweather vs Pwill, Cotto vs Pwill, and ......who could forget Sugar Ray vs Aaron Pryor.

    lol.

  • As usual.......you have no argument. Not one of those boxers have managed to NOT fight the best EXCLUSIVELY for the past 7/8 years like Floyd........lol who is supposed to be leagues above them all btw.

  • "Not one of those boxers have managed to NOT fight the best EXCLUSIVELT for the past 7/8 years like Floyd" and neither do they NEED to be for the same rules you apply daily to Floyd Mayweather fit.

(nice try though).....also would it make sense that a fighters like Kelly,David and even Manny wouldn't even find it possible to fight the best for OVER/ duck the best for over 7 years like FLoyd since......FLOYD HAS BEEN IN THE GAME WAY LONGER?

Im just saying seems like a phony premise Dirk.

  • Same rules apply. Every fighter has gimmies, cherry picks, tune ups occasioanly.......but for SEVEN YEARS?........lmao sorry that doesnt cut it.

Floyd has been in the game longer........sorry, did you have a point? I thought the longer you were in the game, the TOUGHER the fights get....... but maybe thats just me! lol

  • "Same rules apply"

Shout out to Floyd has to fight he best NOW......but David can pull a double duck because its good for his career growth....lmao

    Im done.

  • Floyd had to fight the best some time in the last 7 years. Which Haye has.

Btw when is Floyd gonna be accountable for himself? Lmao......also isnt Floyd naturally held to a higher standard than Haye......I guess only when it suits you lol

  • Manny? Check. Ricky? Check. David? Check. Froch? Check. Joe? Check. Kelly? Check. Kell (?!?!? lmao) ? Check.

    Floyd? Still waiting....lol

  • if you take 2 guys they dont have to be elite but they are top 5 in their div. that i love seeing that.

honestly i root for a good match . brawl or chessmatch it doesnt matter, i stop rooting since roy jones was KOed by tarver. in words of mary j "no more pain"

  • martinez vs williams is interesting. i think it would be a good. i cud see either fighter winning. better than nothing. im soo desperate i bought the camacho jr-campas fight and im gona buy the judah, casamayor (crying) i have weaknesses

  • Thats dedication....lol I dont even think Zab's mum is buying that shit.

  • @jl87.....Martinez vs Williams is gonna be a more lopsided victory for Paul than the Winky fight was.

  • damn! lopsided victory for paul didnt see that coming. you hit me now im clinching

  • @jl87, Sergio is very awkward......but that doesn't equal good does it?

  • no sergio is good hes a top 154lb fighter. hes just not better than pwill and i think pwill at 160 is more natural than sergio

but you picking pwill? rattled my brain

  • @123.......who is Barker fighting? I wanna see that Macklin fight go down.

  • 12shootdaTrey - Rolling with all your predictions except for Hairy(back) and the Hendersons over Haye - are you fookin crazy? And I'm gonna disagree and go with Funeka putting in enough "compubox/(flashy long range) pts over Joan.

But yeah, Pac targets the eye and gets an RTD; Ward goes easy MD if not a full buttered UD over the Danish muffin (code word for p*ssy) and Maple Leaf getting another Canadian bacon robbery over L Andrade.

  • Kell Brock? Did Dirk wet the bed again?

  • Lmao.......Sonny's had a go, now here's Cher! "Wet the bed".......seriously how old are you?

  • @123......Im guessing Hopkins is whats preventing it from being on the line. Although if hes moving to cruiser/heavy, then maybe it should be

  • simple concept

  • @123, "Kell Brook? Oh lord, who hyped him up?"

real talk dude.....you gotta ask the guy who hit us up with classic "KELL BROOKS IS THE FUTURE!"

But then again dude had to be joking so I really didn't take him or any mention of Kelly Brooks seriously on GYGB

well it could be worst....dudes could be hyping up a top p4p Jr MiddleWeight who was trying to see a ghost for a middleweight champion ship of the world.........right? Lmao

  • Lmao@ Kell Brook being responsible for Floyd Mayweathers actions.

    This is sad.

  • "Lmao@ Kell Brook being responsible for Floyd Mayweathers actions"

Shout out to the predictable Diggler "straight out of left field" interpretation of an opposing viewpoint.

  • Left field? lmao......bringing up Kell Brook (who just happens to be British lol....who woulda thought?) in a discussion on Mayweather. Too funny. Shout out to Carl, Ricky and David making their obligitory apperances too......shit is old.

  • thats wa boxing is about. everybody knows ppl only care if the best fight the best. win lose or draw. we want to see the best fights being made

  • "I just point out the contradictions and you avoid them like the plague"

shout out to Dirk never avoiding a direct question on GYGB and wanting to see the "best fight the best".........unless it's David Haye vs the Vitali or Vlad ASAP.(contradiction....check)

  • Who said i didnt wana see Haye vs Klits? Btw since when did Haye prove he was "the best" at HW? lol

    Moving on....lol

  • "Btw since when did Haye prove he was "the best HW?" never.......but just like in the case of.....(wait for it) PWill vs Kelly.......Paul never "proved" he was the best middleweight.......and everyone co signed(including you) c/s on he idea of that fight......BUUUUUUUUUT...when it comes to your beloved Man crush David....it's a good idea for him to "work up to" ...........The Best should fight the best...lol

love them 360s...keep em coming dude

  • I co-signed the idea of Haye vs Wlad.....I was gutted when it got cancelled. But I think he has a better chance working his way up to it. I DONT CARE if Paul Williams wins or not.........see how that works?

    You done yet? lol

  • "no one cares"

shout out to any Kell Brook alerts on GYGB.

  • C/s J yizzle! Chad throw more combos then a high school locker room. He don't faint a lot because he's normally first to get off. One thing Chad does great is box on the go and he's gotten better at it. Don't think the Chad that fought Glen 2 years ago is showing up. This Chad is much more controlled

  • @Brookland "Chad throw more combos then a high school locker room" LMAO Good call son!

My brah, I aint no 49er (no homo) but I l luv watching dude fight. Watch the way Chad will catch and twist Glencoff's jab or str8 and fire right back on top!!! Easy to teach that twist n pop when a man is 6'4" and his opponent is slow at 250 lbs plus...but how many 6'2" dudes at 175 have the discipline to implement the Evander cruiserweight blueprint? That's why I like this UCONN Husky!!!!

  • 123 - Don't be fooled by the "predictable rythym" of Bad Chad. Vallae can attest to this as I sent him a p.msg after the second Tarver joint on how well Chad anticipated that Tarver "rythym" and just fired back 2 to his 1 pocket. It's pretty amazing n profound that u picked up on that intangible, but on the flip it's actually one of Chad's best attributes. Similar to Nard on those 20 defenses at MW in a lot of ways. Just keep studying what I'm saying and you'll see. Good call tho, good analysis!

  • @John, what up boy. WHats good( i like the mention btw...lol....and I remember that p. msg...lol)

  • @Money I think Cotto's jab will hold Manny still. Manny will be bouncing around with no where to go once that jab gets cooking. I do agree though Cotto can't follow him around looking for lanes to open or he will be tattooed like crazy

  • @Ring, I'll also be speaking on the missed financial opportunities Bob Arum f'ed up on by not taking advantage of Cotto's HUGE eastcoast latino following and marketting him as the best PR fighter on the planet to mainstream American media in:

The Four Kingdoms PT 1 coming this week.

(damn I love self promotions almost as much as Floyd and RA..lol)

  • @Cali the ladboy got his/her skirt in the bunch because we had the forbidden discussion about Manny vs Floyd

  • lol....oh for real....I missed that one. Im sure it was enlightening...lol. But I cant forget the time I had the "three color blind mice" coming at me for bringing up the Black/Mexican Boxing rivalry here in soCal. Good forbid such a thing even exist.

btw shout to all the fights I seen break out in Staples center that night Margo got his but tapped by Shane.

also shout out to the other BIGMIKE who I have sometimes had some great conversations on real "Cross Town Rivalry"

    btw

  • Comment removed

  • "Who got their skirt in a bunch except the Floydies whenever Floyd is criticised"

Shout out to me in blunted laughing my @ss off when I first heard the RA vs Floyd interview btw.

And shout out to the supporters of most UK fighters on this sight whose cherry pops every time fighters like Ricky Hatton, David Haye and Froch arent shown their "proper due respect"

lol(see how that works both ways?)

  • No not really, once again neither Manny or Ricky Hatton or Carl Froch are responsible for Floyds 7 year itch. See how that works yet? lol

  • "Who came at you about any black/mexican rivalry"

Walk, Panther, 951 and shit load of other Colorblind Police. btw....I noticed "fabricated" has replaced "obssessed" with you and the boys. lol

  • @123, At first I had Manny breaking down Cotto but Im not so confident in Manny's ability to break down a real live 147lber like Cotto(small 147.....but hell so are Mayweather and Berto). Of course how Manny has performed in the "Mayweather 3 steP" (JMM, Ricky, Oscar) lets me know I can't put anything past the Pac Man. (too bad it took Oscar getting ABUSED and me losing a $1000 for that to happen....lol............well the last part at least.)

  • lol yeah sorry to hear about your $1000 dollars just dont bet on any Manny fights ne more

I dont wanna get all complicated with the fight cuz it apparently never plays out that way when Manny is involved, all i know is after watching Cotto's fights and Manny's fights (even Oscar AND Hatton) its really simple its jsut 2 defensively flawed fighters who more than make up for it with offense

Manny's speed and volume vs Cotto's precision and power

  • Cotto will probably take 2 to land 1 nearly all night but i think the power and size difference will make up for that....Cotto by either ref stoppage before 10 or Cotto does enough early on and barely lasts to the 12th and then gest robbed cuz theres just too much money in Manny vs Floyd or ne one else

  • real talk Money....Im just looking at how Manny vs Floyd is "supposed" to happen and dont see him getting a decision= KO or bust.....always a bad spot to be in ESPECIALLY going against Manny regardless of the weight.

  • yup shouts out to Marquez...and that was pre mega Manny era too so you know Cotto's got his hands full

  • "lol yeah sorry to hear about your $1000 dollars just dont bet on any Manny fights ne more"

Heck no brother and honestly/thankfully its way too late for that....me and Manny got a history and he has won me more money than he has lost me:

Shout out to both Marquez fights, the Barerra fight, the last Morralles destruction and of course(wait for it).......when he won me $500 by exposing that fraud Ricky.

Shout out to Manny holding the V-town version of the " Diamond Belt"..Lmao

  • @Cali add this one Jay Z has more credibilty with whites then blacks these days

  • @Ring, I was originally thinking "Jay Z has credibility with Madison Ave and Wall Street" which we have all heard before but I didn't want a bunch of "color blind" Tele Tubbies bombarding me with angry post for insinuating something as SINISTER / AWFUL on GYGB as "white people dominate corporate America"

    lmao

  • @Ring, naw the dude in the orange life preservers is David Haye. Dude be drowning in the deep end and needs the added "help"...lol. Peep my brotha....the end of Valuev of Haye is gonna be sloppy. btw did I mention the "Big Hairy Giant" is gonna be hard to Ko?

    lol

  • @GYGB: back to boxing.

  • "shaky ground"

only for those who have hidden agendas, haven't taking the time to explore the meaning of the word RACE, it's origins and(most importantly) those who don't have a competent racial awareness either garnered from daily interpersonal/ interracial /interactions.

Like a wise man said to me "The only way you can begin move past RACISM is to look it square in the face and talk about it.......not ignore it, sweep it under the rugg and hopes it decides to retire"

  • "Those little kids with orange life preserve jackets on" lol is that Skirtdiggler or David Haye? Caliboy that's some funny ish my dude lol

  • cold be a problem against a vet like Glenn

  • thats real talk

  • @GYGB: Dont sleep....Glen wont be going out easy.

  • @123, I also have Valuev by late stoppage. Regardless of the criticism the "Hairy GianT" has shown he can at least still dog paddle in deep waters........David Haye still has a couple of them hideous, orange "for kids" life preservers/flotation devices draped around both arms.

  • Completely agree about Valuev vs Haye thats also my prediction except i think Haye gasses earlier but gets stopped around the same time...punching up like that also takes away your power

I got Chad winning another SD, he's just not coming up as impressive as he should be, im not sure what he's going to do to change the fight

I got Cotto by UD or stoppage around the 10th, Cotto's corner didnt stop the Clottey fight i doubt they would stop this one too early, they're not that bad

  • @Money, agree on Chad fight...disagree on Cotto fight. The most direct way CHad can "Keep they heads ringing" (shout out to DRE) is jump into supersix or go HW.(which aint happening.)

As for Cotto vs Manny...I'll say it again.....Manny by controversial decision. Cotto has to get a KO to win and I dont see this version of Cotto stopping Manny(could be wrong. Cotto's power in the lighter weights/ vs lighter fighters is devastating) Just dont see him landing enough to break PacMan down.

  • Like I was saying b4 Jerkdiggler invaded my privacy like a peeping Tom. Valuev like Oxy said is skilless. He throws slows ass punches. He has no committed jab to keep Haye @ bay. Haye is chinny but Valuev can't hurt Haye though. Valuev is just too to flat footed and slow

  • "jerkdiggler"...seriously are we in the playground? lol A jerk? lol

  • @HeelsandSkirtdiggler, I was talking boxing with Walk and Oxy b4 your ladyboy ass chimed in. If you scared get a fucking dog. Haye in 9! Now do me a favor stop steering at me while I piss in the urinal! In other words stay out my business tranny

  • lmao

  • @ringqueen.......You werent saying anything apart from "leave Floydy alone" and "ur a racist". I ask you for some substance to that and you were nowhere to be found ho, as usual!

  • Anyway fella's im out i got a long drive back down to dorset tomorrow...getting up at 5am!..I'll catch you all on fight night! fingers crossed for big Dave Oxy! lol

  • Later on mate. I wont be around on Saturday, hopefully I'll be celebrating Daveys win and struggling to walk and see through intoxication!lol!

  • Sorry for clogging the board with odds people but last one i thought might be of interest...miguel Cotto to win inside 3 rounds 17/1!...even though im picking the Pacman i think that one is worth a flutter.

  • lol just imagine you bet on Douglas to beat Tyson....42/1 odds!!!

  • Wow! You wouldnt get them odds on any fight now!

  • thats the Tyson factor Oxy you know i paid $75 for the Tyson vs Lewis PPV lol who else could make such rediculous odds or PPV charges?

  • Pacquiao to win in the first round is 26/1 with ladbrokes by the way.
