This is a great video. Unfortunately, most BF2 players will refuse to supress anyone or anything because they care so much about their accuracy stats. And you'll be hard pressed to find a server coherent enough to coordinate entries and manouvres like these.

There are no hackers is competition play. Competition play is about clans getting together and offering up their best players to compete to find out which clan is the best. All the matches are battle recorded and if one side suspects the other of cheating they can offer a dispute. In that case, the battle recorders are checked to see if anyone was hacking.

The medic is the number one person in the squad that should have patience. The reason I say that is because well like you said just supress the enemy while the medic revives your buddy. You have 15secs and anything can happen in 15secs so take your time. You can't always get to your guy in time. Be happy its a game because in reality if he dies he dies (not saying thats a good thing) but there are other things to worry about.

At 38 that's a real military tactic. All of this is apparently. Awesome video. Games are a lot more fun when played like in a combat situation. On vegas 2 for example I had one squad pose up at a door with breaching charges, my friend another door, I took the center door. We all rushed in simultaneously. It gives you a rush everytime you do it more than simply killing someone.

realworld tactics work fine in last-man-standing matches where death means 'out of the game'. In BF2 and most other FPSses you can 'try to kill, die, revive, rinse & repeat'.
Most players play for the kills, not for the survivals.
If a good support can take down 3 of your team and die because he acted like a rambo, then his remaining teammembers will finish you off since they have 2 more ppl for spraying bullets.

That wastes alot of ammo your squad should have support. Also you could have coverd the squad kit requirements like medic, anti tank, engineer and support.. and maybe special forces and assualt.
dude youve been watching cops too much. not very good advice because while youre doing the cover, run, cover thing, any enemy with a machine gun could mow both of you down. since the enemy is usually disorganized and rogue, a better idea would be to explain how to gain ground
Great video and great tactics. However, the thing with Bf2, is that unlike in real life, where tactics like this can be put into good use, in Battlefield all you can pretty much do is suppress the whole way, because all your enemy does is charge at you, then go prone while spraying you with rounds, and bunnyhopping while they reload...no tactics there mate, and not a lot of great opportunities to execute your own tactics.
in real combat you can sort of pridict wat the enemy is going to do but in bf2 at any second the opposition could just break cover like headless chickins with there machin gun on auto and holdin down the trigger beacuse it is worth dieing 4 a kill or 2 because you dont loose points. so not much use in bf2 but all the some top notch vid m8 5/5

Pretty tight shit, and looks great. But, I have to agree none of this would work in game.
A lone wolf in a Vodnik could mow the whole squad down. BF2 is all about moving the squad fast.

The medic is the number one person in the squad that should have patience. The reason I say that is because well like you said just supress the enemy while the medic revives your buddy. You have 15secs and anything can happen in 15secs so take your time. You can't always get to your guy in time. Be happy its a game because in reality if he dies he dies (not saying thats a good thing) but there are other things to worry about.

this is how you play the project reality mod. can't be done with the nadespamming in bf2 vanilla. surpressive doesn't work and you will only die with empty mags.

At 38 that's a real military tactic. All of this is apparently. Awesome video. Games are a lot more fun when played like in a combat situation. On vegas 2 for example I had one squad pose up at a door with breaching charges, my friend another door, I took the center door. We all rushed in simultaneously. It gives you a rush everytime you do it more than simply killing someone.

Well i think it's a bit hard to apply this. For the overwatch thing, the guy who runs out tends to get shot down. And if you get into trouble with a machine gun, a normal player would just dash away instead of crawl around.

say what you will...real life tactics work perfect in BF2...maybe not as complex as the ones in this video, but basic room clearing and how to move in urban areas from cover to cover...flanking and so on, that all realy works...unlike idiots who play like CS...rushing down the middle...idiots

realworld tactics work fine in last-man-standing matches where death means 'out of the game'. In BF2 and most other FPSses you can 'try to kill, die, revive, rinse & repeat'.
Most players play for the kills, not for the survivals.
If a good support can take down 3 of your team and die because he acted like a rambo, then his remaining teammembers will finish you off since they have 2 more ppl for spraying bullets.

good vid, however this does not aply for BF2.. no body is going to use this method of fighting when its a game, on an inf only clan match u want 4 medics and 2 support thats it and stick together push as ONE ! not 1 go other covers, to much risk of him dieing on his own

That wastes alot of ammo your squad should have support. Also you could have coverd the squad kit requirements like medic, anti tank, engineer and support.. and maybe special forces and assualt.

dude youve been watching cops too much. not very good advice because while youre doing the cover, run, cover thing, any enemy with a machine gun could mow both of you down. since the enemy is usually disorganized and rogue, a better idea would be to explain how to gain ground

Great video and great tactics. However, the thing with Bf2, is that unlike in real life, where tactics like this can be put into good use, in Battlefield all you can pretty much do is suppress the whole way, because all your enemy does is charge at you, then go prone while spraying you with rounds, and bunnyhopping while they reload...no tactics there mate, and not a lot of great opportunities to execute your own tactics.

in real combat you can sort of pridict wat the enemy is going to do but in bf2 at any second the opposition could just break cover like headless chickins with there machin gun on auto and holdin down the trigger beacuse it is worth dieing 4 a kill or 2 because you dont loose points. so not much use in bf2 but all the some top notch vid m8 5/5
