She deals immense amounts of damage from a distance and she has Heal Arrow, which means: uber damage plus heal in one turn!

Whoa... what a difference to the ps3 version. I'm about to head to Aria Temple and just recently got Shootingstar (Polka is 27 now). Back then I only had Orange Glow and Netherwave with her... That guy went twice in a row and loved to use his Breath of Despair or whatever the attack is called which killed instantly if not blocked. After a few tries I said "fack you", got as far away from him with Beat as possible and killed him from the distance. That's what he get's for being so slow by foot.

in the ps3 version if you miss a guard you are dead...

It´s by far one of the most difficult bosses on Encore Mode (ps3). His attacks are just... OMG PWNZ0R. But well, difficult does not mean impossible. Well, having the group level 6 and Salsa+Frederic comboing all the way without losing star combos it´s fine too :)

In PS3 version, poisoning him is very effective. He loses 3000+HP every turn.. Ha! That's the best way to kill this persistent fatsy jerk.

ok i just beat him on my 3rd try for ps3 users this is best way to beat him!

item set floral p and items that bring charcters back to life and one! poison flower. first thing poison him this takes of about 4000 every time he attacks keep spread out and have viola always healing beat attack from distance and you should find it alot easyer!!

It's amazing... They are so concerned w/ going to The Palace yet they waste time here. Tuba had a point he's very lucky they love wasting time babbling.

'I still WUV this game and it's long undeveloped cutscenes. For that reason this deserves a sequel.

dude this was reeeeaaaallllly easy! i sugest that you always have floral powder on the "X" key, and you should already set beat on ur team that way he doesnt take away any of the characters that you wanted.....Heres was mine line up(up until Allegretto and Beat leveled up)....Allegretto Lv. 18, Viola Lv. 19, Beat Lv.18........just make sure you block as much as you can......but it was a really easy fight......too me at least....:) hope some of this info helped! :D

Wow, just did this fight on Encore on the PS3 version, and guarding against his attacks will only lower it to 400-500 damage, while not guarding it will do 2000-3000 damage per hit.

I got the german version, I don't know if itr makes a difference, but By team is: Allegretto 23, Viola 20, Beat 22 and I jut had about 10 trys!!

I hate this guy, I think theres no chance to beat him! What now??

correction allegretto is now lvl 20, viola is lvl 20, beat is lvl 18, polka is lvl 18, frederic is lvl 17 still and salsa is lvl 19

OMG I JUST CAN'T BEAT THIS GUY! for one second i recognise beat is on my team instead of frederic and already i know i'm gonna lose. plus tuba GETS TO ATTACK DURING TWO GO'S. yes i own the ps3 version -_- am i good enough to beat him? my levels are Allegretto lvl 19, Viola lvl 20, Beat lvl 17, Frederic lvl 17, Salsa lvl 18 and Polka lvl 17

definitely weaker than on ps3. im now by this boss and he kills me easy. he can attack twices a row and those 3000 damage and he is allot stronger than on xbox360. and iam leve 20 with that retto and 20 with beat. fuck this boss

He killed me twice in a row...and that was only on the first battle. My controller also freaks out for some reason during this battle, so it doesn't help either.

Plus there's a glitch where even you press the chance button during the right time against one of his attacks, it doesn't register and he ends up doing massive damage to you. It bothered me the first 4 times I had to fight him.
