  • I'm 21 and I got into this band when I was 17.

  • @LindaHavok I'm almost 16 and I got into this band I was 4

  • Another band that I would not have heard of if I hadn't stumbled on to the right channel.

  • TOO....MUCH.....METAL -MASSIVE TWITCHING-

    -EXPLODES-

  • The only problem with this album is that it isn't available on Spotify!

  • boring..i prefer death metal.

  • @jadpogiful celtic frost played a major role in making death metal what it is now

  • @jadpogiful celtic frost/hellammer almost influenced every death metal band back in the 90s...

  • I just discovered Celtic Frost so thank god for Triptykon right. Heavy as constipation.

  • Sounds like Diablo to me. Or maybe Diablo sounds like this.

  • GOD i freaking LOVE this CD!!!! CHEWING NEUTRONIUM!!!! YYEEAAAA!!!!

  • 7 people must b Simple plan fans..177 have gr8 music Taste!!!!

  • A few years before Celtic Frost there was a swiss band named Hellhamer, same members, which later evolved to Celtic Frost. Hellhammer was in '81 amongst the 1st blackmetal bands, i ntow with Venom, and at that time considered as the next Black Sabbath.

  • Forget about Venom, Cradle of filth, Dimmu Borgir or whatever. THIS is it!

  • uuuuuuu it's so heavy.

  • Great... The finale is awesome

  • been such a long time since i listened to Celtic Frost

  • kill the fucking emo

  • just got into them but is sadden they disbanded (never will get the chance to see them live)

  • Fantastic!

  • there was no part of this song that I didn't like

  • Pure Godflesh.

  • @pajt23 .. Heh I love Godflesh and Static-x but Celtic Frost where the ones that started Heavy Metal, but honestly Celtic Frost experimented alot and ended up doing Industrial Metal, Thrash Metal, Black Metal and Death Metal... love them.

  • @TheUnbeholden Really, Celtic Frost "started" heavy metal?

I was a big Frost fan since they first hit the scene... but I was listening to Thrash, Black and Death metal long before they arrived and was certainly listening to Heavy Metal long before them.

Celtic Frost deserves a ton of credit... but not so much that we say they started Heavy Metal.

  • @rfburnhertz Ooops I meant Black Metal, but honestly they really where one of the first that started to sound like Heavy Metal sounds now... I think they where just ahead of their time? I suppose I used the wrong wording :)

  • @TheUnbeholden Gotcha. Celtic Frost for sure was one of the pioneers.

I know there has been attempts to match/copy their sound, but imo they stand alone.

  • @rfburnhertz thrash, death and black almost didnt exist those days, mate. they were together with mercyful fate, exodus, venom, metallica, slayer who did something that changed the scene in general! and indeed, they were founders! so all of the mentioned bands deserve all the creds!!!!!!. my god...

  • @thrashing10001 sure there was, even if there was no specific term such as death metal.

Was it main stream? Not at all, but it was there.

No name bands like Creeper, the original Death Angel, etc...

I still have EP's of bands like these that I ordered out of the back of magazines starting in 79 when I was 11.

  • @thrashing10001 I, btw, was not talking crap about Celtic Frost. Just in case that was misunderstood.

They were among the pioneers to be sure, they just were not "the" pioneer.

Not as well I responding to the claim that they started heavy metal.

  • Some one will have to enlighten this 25 year n00b on what Death/Black metal existed before 84 when Celtic Frost came out, and 82 for Hellhammer.

It is true they didn't start Heavy Metal, but they did a ton start and/or push forward Extreme Metal of which Thrash, Black, Death, etc. are a part of.

  • Tom is a fucking Genius !!

  • a mix of black and death metal

  • @Monhold Keine Anhnung, was du gesagt hast.

  • Why am I cold? So devoid? And why do I feel what I am. Destroyed all you bestowed. You're my all. I am, it falls apart, they recede, how I envy them, how I long, everything I was, is dead. Oh how I long. Mine, in this lie. This is me, in this lie, lie. Mine, in this lie. This is me, in this lie, lie, lie, never! Never! Never! Never! I drown, I fall, I subside, why do I feel? Solo. Mine, in this lie. This is me, in this lie, lie. Repeat. If I die, die, die.

  • @Spencer12404 thx for theses lyrics

  • They don't have a decent page on Google with lyrics :/

  • @TheAmdusias I sooorta figured them out.. kind of.

  • @TheAmdusias You can try Metal-Archives [dot] com for the lyrics. Excellent site for finding new bands as well.

  • @DeathvoidX9

one of my favorite sites out there : D

  • @DeathvoidX9 Ah yes the Random band button has become my best friend

  • I wish Tom Warrior would walk up to the members of Black Veil Brides and Vampires Everywhere!, and twists each one of their heads around the opposite direction.

  • Just watched 3 different Celtic Frost videos! I like their music but I don't like what I read from the fans on the comments ...you guys think you are like too brutal or something ? well you are not ^^ I like Celtic Frost but fuck you online badasses

  • einfach nur geil

  • @CelticDragoner Sehr erstaunlich ist es nicht

  • Would anyone happen to know the lyrics to this badass piece?

  • @TheAmdusias google it..

  • death to emo?? are u guys for real?

  • I'm Swiss descent and I found this awesome band from Switzerland Yeaah :P

  • Being born in 91 I didnt grow up with this band.

In 2007 I randomly picked up this album with an FYE giftcard

My world has been rocked since.

  • DOOOOOOOOOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha Buuremusig us Nürensdorf =)

  • That isnt real metal. Start listening to white metal!!

  • @KackeAmStill Are you kidding me? This, my friend, is the DEFINITION of real metal.

  • @aarongtr180 He is just trolling. White metal wtf?!

  • @aarongtr180 this is the definition of real bullshit... you call this vocals? LOL celtic frost more celtic shit think you are so special? die in a hole

  • @magictoast5 This coming from a guy named "magictoast5". Please don't reproduce.

  • @aarongtr180 so? "aarongtrfag180"?

  • @KackeAmStill =)))

  • @KackeAmStill what is white metal?

  • @h3adbanger95

Lol he's trolling I'm pretty sure, but it is a term to describe Christian Black Metal (White, Unblack, etc. )

Another lame attempt to CHRISTIANIZE FUCKING EVERYTHING like T-shirts with company logos modded to have Jesus in them and whatnot.

  • Tom Warrior's work is one of those clear evidences that without pain art can not take any form. This whole album has become a classic from day one

  • you are all fucking jealous that i got to see this performed live as an opening act for Type O.

  • @4merlyknownaz me too, in houston

  • welcome back

  • so easy to understand them, I like it.

  • they named the song right............CELTIC FUCKING FROST!

  • So sludgy and yummy!

  • Swiss Metal !!!

    Hail Celtic frost Hail Coroner

  • @HBWizzard and Hail Hellhammer!

  • THIS SONG MAKES ME FEEL GOOD

  • death to emo!

  • @death19911992

death to emo, you like death. but death to emo in a fair sense could be death to all styles a cliques. You shouldn't alienate one type of person because the great thing about it is, they are all the same... people... and inside every person is the potential for an insane murdering psychopath.

Don't pick on the emo's though, they eventually kill themselves.

  • @death19911992

what dose that have to do with anything?

  • @death19911992 how is this relevant?

  • The song itself is good, but without the production to give it that sharpness and raw power, it would almost certainly be pretty forgettable. Walter Schmid and Phillip Schweidler deserve a lot of credit for making an ok song into something outstanding.

  • So powerful...I love it \m/

  • I love this album so so much*FFF

  • Genre: Heavy Metal? Come on, that's DOOM at its finest. :D

  • he needs to go potty

  • I can't find the lyrics to this song. Can someone send me a link to the lyrics or email them to me.

  • @blackcrow1x

"Why am I cold, so devoid? And why do I feel what I am? Destroyed, all you bestowed. You're my all. I am. It falls apart. They recede. Oh, how I envy them. How I long. Everything I was is dead. • I like the artwork of this album, is so sick, so possessed, so evil...

  • Okay.

  • @marilynman Have a look at the artworks for TRIPTYKON's "Eparistera Daimones".

    Made by HR Giger.
