Blah-blah-blah, haters hate. We actually did prepare for that tourney, unlike EE there (and goons were going to fight them), and yeah, it was not a fight but a massacre. The only mistake we did was - we didn't lose a single ship, and ended up fighting very solid team next round, with whom we had a very good fight nevetherless.

Dude; I am so shocked at Kil2 in this. Kil2 knows a noob when he see's one, yet is giving rage credit here, and is avoiding the fac EVE engineering setup is not only 1) terrible. but 2) completely fail. I mean, it is apparent that none of the EVE Engineering ships are fit right, nor are they being piloted right. Angelhun says "Those frigates are doing a good job of holding eve engineering in place" THEY WEREN'T EVEN TRYING TO MOVE. lol. They got spoon fed this victory.

RAGE not only had to fill in for goonswarm on a 30 minute notice but they had to bring a good setup to get them to the 3rd round. They delivered on both counts. Looks like they just got some guys pvping at the time and said, wanna play in the AT? Very interesting ship setup (heavy shield rep from domi? wtf?) yet very strong.

So how do the tourneys work? Do you apply? Are you chosen? Do you get reimbursed for your ship/win a prize even if you lose?

@KittyRokher You apply there is a entrance fee but I don't know the isk requirements. Your alliance in game (which is a group of various corporations together) applies for the tournament and you are assigned a day and time to compete and you assemble within the guidelines. If you place 3rd or better I believe there are prizes awarded, might only be 2nd and 1st place, they got billions of isk and a bunch of ships that only winners got that don't exist elsewhere in game till sold by them.

these commentators have no idea what assualt ships are capable of. rage used some seruios FW tactics. let the assault ships do the work.

Ugh, that was an ugly match. Eve Engineering might as well not have shown up, it PAINED me to see Rattlesnakes used that poorly. Still, nice showing from R.A.G.E, even if their setup was a little odd (why did they have a HAWK of all assault frigates?)

@demonbox77 Eh... they did have an excellent setup. However, Eve Engineering just came looking like, it seems, to lose some ships. Shame they lost two Rattlesnakes.

Hell, just one of R.A.G.E's frigs could have swept the Caracal, Kestrel and Catalyst.

I like one of the commentators, but honestly, if you know you are gonna commentate with an audience of +15k people, why not buy a microphone that isnt from 1991? I mean.. At least check the quality before you do a huge commentary stream ;>

prior to the fight i saw the worst combination of ships i've ever seen fielded in a tourny, it was rather nice that they were the only ships destroyed, just to illustrate my thought.
