  • Holy fuck! I couldn't stop laughing!

  • Naw i miss Rove!!!!!

  • i had to look up accolade and arbitrary...........

  • @pausethememories i have to look up every second word Russell spits out.

  • I think this is my favorite interview ever

  • I didn't get question 5 with the peanut joke

  • @foxybitch123456 basically he recommended not eating food at an orgy as the hands that go in to take the food could (and would) have been in/on a lot of places/people. Just like you don't know where peoples' hands have been whilst in a bar.

  • @foxybitch123456 @84katieh or rather at an orgy some people tend to misfire :D

  • Man i love them both

  • what song plays when russell is entering the show room?

  • russel brands fucking massive

  • @somethingintheway16 roves small too

  • I'm in love with him. Despite his STD's, drug abuse, freaky hair and the fact that he's married. I love his accent and his smart jokes :p

  • Russell - 1

    Rove - 0

  • zac efron looks like he doesn't know ho o react to everything.

  • Oh my sweet lord, Russell is so fucking sexy.

And I would definitely do Rove as well.

  • I love how Zac Efron is just chillin' in the background.

  • I just love Russell.........he is the absolute best...

  • im a straight engaged father, id still do him

  • @nogbut agreed lol

  • @nogbut hahahahahahahaha

  • man i never knew he was this funny

  • Rove is your best comedian? Jeezzzz.......

  • @LamaHooligan Don't worry, most of us are completely embarrassed by him.

  • Rove is in awe of Russel

  • love his smile

  • Iamdabossofnepal --

I totally get what yer on about

  • what on earth are those two on about? (below)

  • i love it when he says:

coz im a real doctor dolittle!!!! :') xx

  • Ah I wish Rove was still on... this was great anyway! Love Russell

  • I miss Rove.

  • if russell is sexy i am dick aadvark

  • IT'S ZAC EFRON :D

  • now i miss rove live :(

  • WOW Zac Efron and Russell Brand in the same room together...It's strange.

  • tryin 2 be as funny as russell, epic fail dude!

  • Zac Effron is like 'arbitrary? What's that?'

  • His advanced vocabulary makes him that much funnier.

  • @TheBetterLugg i wish i was articulate

  • @TheBetterLugg a "greater" vocabulary, you bell-end.

  • @6anatolyy4 One can have an 'advanced' vocabulary, it's correct, you bell-end.

  • I love this man :)

  • Zac Efron looks so scared. He's hiding behind that girl like 'please don't talk to me scary Russell Brand, I'm far to lame for your awesomeness'

  • aldous snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Um...did that colonial man seriously have a hard on? Or am I imagining things....awkward.

  • hes even too much for rove, he (rove) seems struggling a bit from time to time

  • I didnt even notice zack effron was in this the first coulpe times i watched it XD

  • haha look at Zack Effron he's like huh big words, am I supposed to laugh now ? I dislike him XP

  • russell is such a great guest, he give so much. perfect guy sexy and funny.

  • lol.. Rove is aussies premier comedian. And Brand had him laughing his ass off like an amateur...

  • @FlozelltheHotell ...........he really isn't our premier comedian. god help us if he is

  • @FlozelltheHotell rove, premier comedian? he hasnt done anything funny for 10 years. everyone sitting on that couch is funnier than him.

  • @FlozelltheHotell

See that's where your wrong. The two blokes on the couch ... Hamish and Andy are so fricken hilarious. you want comedy ... look them up.

  • @makeupmadness2010 well he is the premier in that it is his show.

I don't see him sitting on 'Hamish and Andy's' couch yknow... so I'm right :)

  • @FlozelltheHotell

    Ok calm down.

you said he was the premier of Australian Comedy ... I'm from Australia. And i was just simply saying that if you like him you will love Hamish and Andy.

You may not see Russell Brand sitting on their couch but if you look them up you will find p!nk giving Hamish a Tattoo, and them interviewing Russell as well.

  • @FlozelltheHotell rove was never good

  • @FlozelltheHotell no, Rove is not...

  • @FlozelltheHotell I don't think he is mate. I think that would be like an Australian saying to me "Jonathan Ross is one of Britain's premier comedians."

  • I'm Canadian and love the English and Aussie's, this was a great interview!

  • not all americans are stupid, a lot of us, but not all. I prefer British humor. All everyone ever sees is the fart jokes. Smart Americans aren't loud enough to be heard over the stupid hillbillies who define us. You twats.

  • Australians get British humour much better than Americans in my experience.

  • he looks like the lead singer of the cure

  • Hahahaa, looks like Zac Efron didn't get a thing Russell said. Haaahaa.

  • "if we have the choice of how to perceive reality, which we clearly do, if there is no objective truth then why not allow our perception to be colored by endless beauty"

    Eh?

  • @GioV45 Think about your perception of the world... is it a dark cloomy place? Russell is simply saying to look at it from a different perspective. A more colorful bright happy one. Rose colored glasses as some would say.

  • @JizzyMcJizz It's almost question of delusion and illusion. Reality is a dark gloomy place, if you look from the outside instead from within.

  • @GioV45 Indeed

  • I know he's gotten exposure here in the states, but I sure hope he gets the level of popularity here as a comic as he has in the UK I mean I have not seen one comedian here with the talent he has. Not one.

  • What does he say at 09:58 - 10:05 ?

  • Australia = Love

    Russell Brand = Awesome

  • haha aw russell is so tall compared to that host it's so cute :')

  • for number 1 i would have expected him to say AIRPORTS !!! hahahahhaa

  • I Loove how Hamish is sitting :)

  • "This cunning linguist". Clever wordplay, but only with an Aussie accent.

  • He's ever so smart and funny.

  • "I can't go out there and start shagging again. Im exhausted!"

"It's just a bit weird because the thumbs pointing right at me..."

    "Once the thumb has decided....."

    hahahahah xD love it

  • look at that pakie go!

  • @bluecobalt27 & britainfan4lyf, no offense, but I don't really see the points you're making. Russell makes Hollywood movies these days, what bigger sign is there that you've been accepted by the American audience?

  • He's just awesome..

  • BRING BACK ROVE.

  • i love how cock effron keeps his mouth shut all the way long

  • the british and the australians seem to share the same homour. americans take everything as offence.

  • @britainfan4lyf imagine being born there surrounded by americans all the time. i'd much rather live in a commonwealth...way funnier.

  • LOL i luv russel brand...such a legand!! I miss rove. i remember seeing this on tv..was such a good show :(

  • I miss Rove.

  • he was tired the big fella, but still blows the radar love him his quickly becoming my idol

  • zac looks scared,

    ahahaha

  • great interview all around. so funny!

  • He is fucking hilarious.

  • Yeah. I agree.. I love Australians. I feel us Brits have closer humour etc to Aussies than Americans.

  • @Blacknarcissa hi, i am Australian and I completely agree. I absolutely LOVE British comedy :) especially the Mighty Boosh ♥ noel :P

  • @Blacknarcissa "I feel us Brits have closer humour etc to Aussies than Americans."

Yeah cause you're the same fucking people...

  • @MattyJames25 so are english and americans though

  • @squazz "so are english and americans though"

Not so. The Delaware valley was founded by the Swedes/Finns, New York by the Dutch, Mississippi valley by the French. Even back when the elite were largely English "blue-blood", a major portion of white Americans were of German extraction. You may have even heard that German was flouted as an official language; that explains why there is a 'Germantown' in every Eastern state.

The first census in 1790 had English Americans at 47.5% - 2009 at 9%.

  • @MattyJames25 Ahh I see

  • @MattyJames25 Didn't the British fight the Dutch out of New York? It was called "New Holland" when the Dutch discovered it, the British named it "New York" after York in England.

  • @MattyJames25 There were more English than any other Europeans when the Dutch colony was taken.

  • Comment removed

  • @quarkwrok Where your 'analysis' is most flawed is not just in the underestimation of Anglicized last names (Johnson for example, long the most common last name owes its popularity to the Swedish/German Johansson and its other Nordic derivatives, not the English name), but in the fact that black Americans all have English last names as a result of their English masters. Furthermore, a lot of Americans simply don't know their ancestry for lack of records. We say 'white people' because of this.

  • @MattyJames25 I took into account generic Germanic names like Adamson, Smith, often angicized. The adoption of the German language IN PENNSYLVANIA ONLY was at a time when over a third of the white population was of German origin and that was tunusually high. English and Lowland Scots/Scots-Irish account for a good 2/3rds of northern European origin (catholics, Greek orthodox, non-Christian etc were a small minority 100 years ago) and English is not considered an inherited ethnicity. Go figure.

  • @quarkwrok Well in 1790, during the first census, English was an ethnicity. The total figure was 47.5%. And "American" wasn't a category back then.

As for Germans, they were the largest immigrant group between 1840-1880; over 1million Swedes alone came in the mid-1800s (not to mention other Nordic countries, see Mid-West); Poles have always had a strong presence & E. Europeans; Italians came in the late 1800s; northern blacks etc. Point is that it has always been far less Anglo-Saxon than Oz.

  • @MattyJames25 No perceived not official ethnicity, refferencing American is to show the pointlessness of current perceived ancestry . British Isles was still the majority in 1790 and assimilation to it not the minority German. Claimed Scandinavia and Polish ancestry has also fallen, but not German for some reason. Italian, Latino, Arab, Asian, Indian, African have increased at the expense of northern/eastern European but British Isles immigration was large and continuous.

  • @quarkwrok

Facepalm. Immigration from the UK hasn't made the top ten countries of origin since the 1800s. English Americans constitute 9% of the US in 2009. People who self identify as 'American' are only 5.9% - say all those white people were English, it makes the total only 14.9%

The UK remains to this day Australia's largest source of immigrants and constitute well over 85% of the country.

Australia is far more Anglo-Saxon than United States. Game over, goodbye.

  • @quarkwrok As well as twisting stats and repeating factoid about Australia being more Anglo-Saxon (sic) when no one disagreed you still fail to understand the point about perceived origins. eg English 1980 49m 2000 24m American 1990 12m 2000 20m! So all-Americans whatever that is are having 12-child families and English-origin folk are not having kids? Don't think so. Scotts/Scots-Irish haven't dropped and as for Welsh don't even go there - up and down like a whores panties. Hmmm.

  • Respond to this video... The always rising 7.3% American in 2000 is quite large compared to most other groups so don't belittle it, even if it only appeared in 1990. Presumably from outer space. All this BS on top of negative posting on some video sad or what. What IS your agenda?

  • @MattyJames25 UK immigration ALWAYS top 10 1900-1990, then there's Irish and UK-born via Canada (especially pre 1960's). All far outstrips German. *slow sideways nod*

  • i love the 'cunning linguist' at the start - cheeky!

  • haha Zach Efrons like 'what the fuck am I doing here'.

  • Is there anyone more opposite to Russell Brand than Zac Efron?

  • Russell absolutely killed this interview! They were all in awe. When he's on form, he's excellent.

  • fuk hes tall im 15 wouldnt even come up to his butt

  • at 2:52 'yeah..' so casual haha.

  • Lol rove got it right - 'heavenly beast'!!!!

  • far more interesting in interviews before he hooked up with the singer girl

  • lol, rove just doesnt seem to understand that the fruit thing isnt funny XD

  • Russell is a ledge.... I'd love to see Russell interviewing Chopper Read. I reckon they'd get on well, but I also think there'd be a lingering danger of Chopper having to get the bolt cutters out.

  • russell brand, rove, hamish & andy, and peter helliar all in one interview. fucking gold.

and you can just tell zac efron is sitting there thinking "how the fuck did i end up here, this is going to totally screw my disney image" LOL

    fantastic stuff! fucking fantastic.

  • @whataboutcaitlin Long removed is his Disney chastity belt. In the interview which preceded this one, Effron can be seen to be loosening his social shackles in order to rectify his juvenile image. Sorry for the thumbs down btw, twas a mistake that happened when aiming at 'reply'.

  • russell is a million times more attractive than zac efron

  • Brilliant interview! That rove guy is class.

I think the Aussies repond to Brand's humour way better than the Americans did. The crowd and the guests are really up for a laugh, so it's all good.

  • @bluecobalt27 so true

  • @bluecobalt27 rove is the best, but he doesnt have the show anymore D:

  • @bluecobalt27 "I think the Aussies repond to Brand's humour way better than the Americans did."

Agreed. Of course it is because Australian's are essentially British.

  • @MattyJames25 then again so are the americans

  • @kophamel "then again so are the americans"

Not so. The Delaware valley was founded by the Swedes/Finns, New York by the Dutch, Mississippi valley by the French. • @MattyJames25

    mongrels the lot of ya!

  • @MattyJames25 actually the census in 1790 was 74.3% british ancestry and 60.1% english. not to mention all the founding fathers were either english or scottish

  • @jed371 "actually the census in 1790 was 74.3% british ancestry and 60.1% english. not to mention all the founding fathers were either english or scottish"

I'll leave it to you to examine the census itself, but say I grant you that the colonies were 60% English (which I don't), it still demolishes the comparison between Anglo-Saxon homogeneity in Australia up until the 1970s versus the more diluted ethnicity of the early United States.

  • @MattyJames25 where are you getting your figures from? i was being generous with 60 percent, it was as high as 80% if you look at some sources. Either way, australia has just as much a varried genetic make up as the united states

  • @jed371 where are you getting your figures from? i was being generous with 60 percent, it was as high as 80% if you look at some sources. Either way, australia has just as much a varried genetic make up as the united states"

    1. From the National Committee for Research on the 1980 Census: it references the actual 1790 census.

    2. Today people of English extraction in the US is at 9%. There is no comparison.

You can find all this and more at census.gov, if you are really that interested.

  • @MattyJames25 i know today its only 9%. im talking about 1790

  • @bluecobalt27 Well Australian's are practically Brits aren't they, we have a lot in common.

  • look at him being a man and turning on all the dudes!! lol

  • he is so charming. He is amazingly hot.. i want to have sex with him. ahhaha :)

  • BAHAHAHAH "wouldnt you like to know"

  • lol zach ephron looks so awkward.

  • @megkoji99 he just had his first man-crush

  • i like how he winks when he's shaking hands at the end. that's what i do... adds a bit of charm haha.

  • ''wouldnt you like to know'' love his facial expressions

  • hamish and andy look like admiring school boys

    they do not even compare

do well to listen carefully to some genuine wit

  • @jonboycurtis orrrrrrrrrrr, you could gfy.

  • matt i feel sorry for you

the greatest decpetion are not those that are deceived but those that are sure they are not when they in fact are

  • And I feel an equal sorrow for you and in you jon, for the greatest pain in life is usually caused by the unnatural insertion of one's head up one's arse.

  • Zac Efron is such a corn. when you put him up against someone like russel you see what a bland human he is

  • he looks like a prissy teenage girl for most of it

  • @CapiTen10 Yes, that what I was thinking... He looked like he had no idea what Russell was going on about... ahh well, maybe he will one day... :)

  • @CapiTen10 true, but how would u measure up against russell brand?

  • @CapiTen10 Lol, your comment really made me laugh for some reason

  • @CapiTen10 zac efron is normal

  • @CapiTen10 everyone sees bland next to russel

  • @CapiTen10 And Russell Brand is a scared little boy who feeds on making other people insecure because he himself is verrrryyyy insecure. But I still find him funny and i like him!

  • lol this guy`s a frieken interestin character.. unexpected n hilarious :D

  • Is that Zac Efron in the background? He's so beautiful that man. I love Russel Brand to!

  • they probably didnt remove the videos coz they know u already have enough issues in ur life, with ur weight problems.

  • i had a bit of a look at ur profile and im telling u miley cyrus is a little slut and im going to report ur profile for copyright material. suck shit
