This application is a joke.It's just a cheap "application" with bad-quality samples.

You can't compare it with the real Electribe sampler.

This video was made with the iPad simulator software provided to every app maker when they register as an Apple developer. Literally any person can sign up and get that simulator, but you'd have to develop your own app or get another one's source code to make it work.

@jasonmoyer Yeah you would be a dumbass if you bought an iPad to run just one program. You'd also be the only dumbass out there because everybody else would be running multiple apps, using the e-reader, syncing their email, surfing the net, and using the other 99.9% of what the ipad can do.

OMFG I was debating on whether I should sell my DS.. I LOVE ds-10, I mean, it' sbeen an inspiration to me.. I'm taking this app as a solid signal that there will be a kaossilator app.. PS people complaining about the graphics--haven't you ever seen a goofy-ass VST before? Ever used Reason? It's kitsch.. just for fun. I must say though--I do like the minimalism of DS-10 or a good tracker like sunvox.

I do not agree with id4rk2. The world is full of VSTis. Owning a full set of Electribes I could only define this as the definitive Killer App for iPad musicians. and...¿$10? Thanks for this nice toy!

Stupid move from Korg, should have been released at least as VSTi (for both, but not only as 10$ iPad App). The worst thing is, that there are a lot of people Waiting for Korg to release new, real, revamped Electribes. This just makes them angrier.

@id4rk2 I think Korg never made any real money from the Legacy VSTs so they are trying something different here. (As for VST, there is always good old MicroTonic at least.)
