Those were not Shias. Yazid appointed his cousin Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad as governor of Kufa. Those morons, who you call Shias, sent letters to Imam Husayn (AS) telling him that they are awaiting his arrival in Kufa and their swords were ready. They were not lying. Their swords were ready, but not against Yazid, against the beloved Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW). Imam sent Hazrat Muslim ibn Aqil to see the situation in Kufa. In Kufa Muslim got about 18 000 men by his side.
Those men went to Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad's castle and ibn Ziyad said that an army of 90 000 was coming from Syria. This scared the men and every man left except for Muslim, who was lost in Kufa. Eventually he got found, captured and brutally murdered. Then Imam Husayn (AS) headed towards Kufa and was stopped at Karbala where those same accursed men, who handed letters to him, gathered up to 40 000 and brutally killed him and his 72 companions who had starved and drank nothing for 3 days.

why do you find it so pleasant to betray the few shias?...how many shias were there back then? hundreds? as opposed to the millions strong sunni ummah? you find it fun to blame shias, but you dont hold your own ummah to account for not protecting the prophet's heirs. yet you proudly display the name of that pig muawiyah. was yazid not a sunni? was muawiyah not a sunni? you blame shias for their deaths yet you forget it was YOUR sunni heroes who actually committed the murders. pathetic

Sorry, gangstaHHHHHHH was my brother's account and it was still logged on. That is actually me speaking, trueislam14. Brother Shias never betrayed nor killed Imam Husayn (AS). Shias believe Imam Husayn (AS) to be their third Imam, the purified the infallible. Thee poeple who fought on Imam's side were Shia. Those who faught against him were neither Sunni or Shias, but were Yazidis. Let Muslim's unite, brother. Never be proud to call yourself Muawiah. He appointed Yazid, thus causing the killing.
