Beautiful singing .Pandit Jasraj shows his mastery over the swars who form the language of music and creates such soulful ,melodious ,and soothing music that one wishes that this music never stops.
@Crazyscience101 They are just singing a particular song. Raag Bhairavi is traditional Indian (aka Hindu), but Pt. Jasraj is singing the song,"Mero Allah Mehrbaan".
@Crazyscience101 Raj is preserved in what we call India today, but Bharat was once all over the known and unknown earth. So raja isnt only for indians,it can be used to express any mood not only hindu.Muslim's sing too you know.Traditional Vedic music can be taken and used by all not only indians. Actually most music, dances etc originated in vedic culture, which is not INDDIAN Culture its just well preserved in india presently.

Experts.. please help me out here.. I've been listening to both raga bhairav and raga ahir bhairav by panditji... there is only a subtle difference between the two, which i cannot put my finger on.. I know that there is shuddha dhaval and komal nishad in ahir bhairav while it is exactly the other way round in Bhairav... However I cannot make out this exact difference while listening...
So, if yo can, please post a few links which accentuate this difference between the two...
my god you have such a divine voice.Panditji you are a natural talent.I wish i could meet you i am very glad to meet you.the way you sing the taan it's mind blowing.
The Mewati Bhairav is absolutely ethereal. And, rendered by the Sangeet Martand, ah...the perfection is ineffable. This video is THE reason I love Raag Bhairav. Also, the focus on the komal dhaivat in this particular bandish is very interesting; everything revolves around this swar, as it should; at the same time, the pancham is given it's full due. Kya Baat Hai!

@Zorba00000000 Yup, It can be Ishwar in place of Allah Also. Listen to Panditjis Bhavans They are Divine.
The Divinity of Krishna, Sanatana and Bhakti. We are not perochial as Muslims. Alas Islam could not make its place inspite of including names of Allah, Hussain etc. in classical songs.

IT IS OUR COLLECTIVE LOSS. A complex point, but it is very easy to appreciate. I hope you catch my drift here.
