I live in Victoria too and I am starting to do this campaign, started by Juan Mann in Sydney, Australia. Everyone should do this, to make the world a better place. One hug can change a whole life, so start making the difference. Give a hug, make the world a better place. If you want a sign, there are extra Free Hug signs handmade in Colwood, go to Canwest Mall. I don't have too many left though, so hurry in for your free sign. And make the world a better place. Hugs to everyone.

I completely agree. Some actually avoid em because they see them from far away. Some people are so hypnotized into their daily rituals that sharing some type of affection seems incredulous, but the trully rewarded are those who open up and embrace :-D

Just had a wonderful 2 hours at Mayfair mall in Victoria. Had an amazing response. I estimate about 150 hugs. Got hugs from all the mall security guards! They really appreciated the spirit of what we're doing.

I got my first hug within 5 seconds, and another one immediately afterwards. At times I had a lineup, and at one point was swamped by 10 lovely teenaged girls with big smiles and braces on their teeth (so sweet).

All in all a very wonderful experience. Try it yourself and see!!
