  • who in there right mind would pay $500 bucks for fricken earbuds?

  • is the se535 worth the upgrade from e4c?

  • I honestly don't know why Beats by Dre are in the suggestions to the side cause these are on completely opposites in the spectrum.

  • @w1n5ton27 Because youtube filtering doesn't distinguish between good headphones and bad headphones.

  • do you think its worth the $500 bucks?

  • FAP, FAP< FAP LOL

  • I just got mine, I got the red ones only sold in asia cuz they had slight sound improvements, thank you santa

  • dog

  • OPEN IT!!!

  • U mad bro ? They made this for like 60 bucks and u bought it 500 bucks jeez

  • @BlizzardGamification Around $60 for this earphone shows a most likely sign that its fake. Oh yeah that make me mad.

  • @BlizzardGamification Of course they have to sell it for more than they made it: how else would they make it profit? I swear, people are so stupid nowadays.

  • @BlizzardGamification LOL, how do you know it's 60 bucks ? a single armature cost $15, they have 6, that's already $90, tuning, crossover, detachable cable, metallic box, and so on, and so on.

sure, it might not cost even near $400, because they mass produce it, but can you make just one pair of IEM of that quality ...

  • @briantam1000 This one retails for $549

  • Im looking at getting a pair but im unsure if they would be good with my HTC phone?

  • @Sveken It will but requires extra adapter to use add in the inline mic. Or you can just use it as a great pair of headphones

  • enough bass?

  • @LUVB6CPPgmodcsscoder Yes in my opinion. It doesn't over bass like with a lot of cheaper in ear monitors or headphones. Lots of bass doesn't mean it's good. This ear piece reproduces music as it was meant to be by the music engineers. So you get the actual reproduction of the music. If the music is bass heavy, this thing has no problem generating the bass.

  • @SuperGadgetGuy okay

  • @SuperGadgetGuy The bass is extremely clear and detailed aswell as you can increase it's volume thru equalizers. What is good with high end earphones is when you increase the band for low frequensees it dosnt effect the whole sound experience, it clearly effect the low frequensees

  • @orcite Exactly, well put. can't say it any better.

  • danm nigga you spent $500 foe ear buds?!?!!

  • 480 € for earbuds, that hurts.

  • You sound a little like Slyfox lmao.

  • @RibenaFanta Who is Slyfox?

  • @SuperGadgetGuy its a character on a video game

  • hahaha 'Where else do you insert them" hahaha funny as fuck!!!

  • Look at these dudes below my comment: Check out how smart they are. Look at all that flashy vocabulary. My favorite is 87hi's need to actually use the phrase--"He doesn't seem to understand the concept of economies of scale or that the maximization of people's utility is subjective." It's funny, but what 87hi "doesn't seem to understand" is how insecure and annoying he sounds.

  • @87hi Agree with you 100%. Since it's the value that matters, i think these headphones offer a pretty good value to me and the price point is a none issue to me. Since we can afford these headphones and not complain about the price/value. I think we know how the world works better than most people or at least we have things work out for us better than most.

  • @87hi OK you obviously dont know how the world works and apparantly dont now the definition of pretentious. You dont need to be on the board of directors to get that information and it should be common sense which you clearly dont have. I am still waiting for an estimation of how much you think it costs to make them. Please, enlighten me. You know nothing about buisness and nothing value of money.

  • @87hi Did I say I could buy one for $3? I said it cost them $3 to make. How much do you think it cost them to make? $200? They make a massive profit per unit. I am well aware the bose, beats and skullcandy dont make good IEM's. You clearly dont know anything appart from what you read on the internet. You're telling me from my comment I dont know a lot. Yes these are one of the best but they are over priced! Do your own research I should'nt need to tell you which are better and cheaper!

  • Thats a ridiculous price when there are better earphones at cheaper prices. It cost them about $3 to make them. So selling them for that price is completely stupid. Especially when there are better and cheaper ones being sold already! And the jack isn't even 24k gold.

  • @dannysmith15 @87hi

Here is my 2 cents on the value/cost/performance debate. The material in total maybe only a few dollars worth. If you break me down, i think i am only worth a few dollars worth of mineral, protein and water. It's all about the final production and not raw material. Performance wise, it doesn't make this $500 headphone 5 times better than $100 ones. In fact, most headphones gets pretty good performance when price goes above $100 but it does cost a lot to get the extra perform.

  • @SuperGadgetGuy

and we are our own judge when it comes down to value. To someone who can afford it then the value is pretty good. and to someone who lives on $2 a day, then it doesn't matter if this headphone is the best in the world that person can not live off this phone for a year. so to each of its own. and BTW, i think i am worth more than of a few dollars of raw material.

  • @SuperGadgetGuy I hate people that reply when they don't know what they are talking about and use comparisons that they also don't know what they are talking about. I'm not talking about raw material, I'm talking about production cost. It does not cost extra for the extra PERFORMANCE (NOT PERFORM). I was obviously including everything in the production cost when I said $3. It cost them no more to make these than it does to make a really bad pair.

  • @dannysmith15 Are you telling me that these earbuds with three MicroDrivers, kevlar-reinforced cable, and gold-plated plug, in a metal box only costs $3 to make? If so, then you should go make them, and sell them for $100, become a millionaire, and put Shure out of business.

BTW, "perform" was all that fit, but I figured readers would know what I meant. Obviously, you did. Good!

  • @SuperGadgetGuy YES! They make thousands at a time which makes the cost to make very low. You do know they are manufactured in asia? Instead of just telling me I'm wrong why not tell me how much you think it cost them to make per unit?

  • Anyone else thinking ''CUT YOUR NAILS!!!''?

  • wich will be better for drumming? shure scl2 or se215?! PLEASE HELP!

  • @ThePurpleDrumStick im a fellow drummer,i think se215!!!!

  • i had this for almost a month now and should it sound bright or a bit splashy on the highs ?? or its not yet breakin ??

  • i had this for almost a month now and should it sound bright or a bit splashy on the highs ?? or its not yet breakin ??

  • hows the sound and the bass for these?

  • Metallic box..... !? It should be GOLD for that price!!!

  • guys.. u wont believe this.

Email shure and ask them urselves... if u have a pair of se530s that are overused or need repair... send them in and u get back a pair of 535s brand new. Repair fee is 145$

Im buying the most Fucked up cheapest pair on ebay so i can "repair" them.

  • @dothra131 Lol. If you already bought "the most fucked up cheapest pair" then I regret to inform you that you have just wasted your money and time. The se530s can only be upgraded if they are covered under warranty with an accompanying original proof of purchase. So with this being said, if you bought "the most fucked up cheapest pair on ebay", chances are that they are not covered by warranty.

  • Im planning in upgrading to this from the Klipsch Image x10, how is the bass response? The klipsch ones have excellent bass response but the mids get a little overpowered by the bass. These earbuds looks really nice, what do you think. (upgrading since my klipsch image x10 broke)

  • Hey
